Fishergate Shopping Centre — Local services in Preston

I don't know about the shopping/facilities but the stupid horizon car park set up is a bloody joke, pay at booth no booths in the car park! Having gone to an opticians at Winkley Square that were superb service The format for payment for parking is stupid, on exit there's no visible booths to pay payment with app not working, so opted to make payment online, it doesn't work! They give a telephone number for an automated phone system, it goes around in circles, asking when you want to park and when you leave, but nothing to inform you about booking in time. You can't go back and put in earlier time! There's an address guess what that link also doesn't work. Just another parking company, making it stupidly impossible to make a simple payment, just to send a parking ticket and Extra Charge, well I say boycott them, if they want paying they can contact me now but they will not get any more than the 3- 3.5...

Basic small town shopping centre (or Mall as Americans and anyone in UK under 20 call them). No closed units at time of writing, prerequisite fastfood chain (McDonald's), clean, toilets and big uncovered carpark (although with Preston Road system it can take several hours to get in/out of the car park.. this is no joke so best avoided on weekends especially if football or major event on nearby that would ensure higher than normal traffic at the train station, which uses the same one road for access as this does and lead to waits of upto 2 hours just to get out..). Should be noted that half of centre dominated by Debenham store so if you want to shop there and on foot perfect (also a big Primark on site if you value cheap clothing made only by the best 3rd world child labour.. to be honest that is probably the same for Debenham but they have the cocksureness to charge more.. capitalism...

At 16.30 on Sunday the 3rd of August I was planning on visiting the shopping centre while I was on my break at work. I rushed because I knew it was closing at 17.00. When I got there there was a queue for the disabled toilets and the male and female toilets were blocked off with staff standing across them saying they’ve been cleaned you can’t use them! I explained that I have bladder issues but I was told to join the queue! This is unacceptable! I don’t like making an issue of my disability but I feel I must at this time.
