Just had a lovely weekend away visiting family and friends. We decided to stay at the Premier Inn Rayleigh Rayleigh Weir for location.||I don't know where to start but from booking this was so easy online and could check in online too a breeze. We arrived later in the evening and welcomed by a lovely lady on the desk. We were on the first floor room 216. The Inn is spotlessly clean and the corridors nicely lit. When we opened the door the room smelt lovely and fresh and exactly like the photos. Loved the design of the room . We had everything we could need including complimentary tea and coffees. Lovely big TV screen on the wall. Wonderful lighting especially in bathroom loved the lilac coloured down light that gave a lovely spa effect. Massive shower and towels too (only one tip if two guests staying you need to smaller towels) You can get one from reception.||Now the one thing we all want when we go somewhere is a great nights sleep. Well our heads hit the pillow and even though the A127 was outside our window it wasn't any trouble the double glazing unit was a good. We slept solid and woke refreshed. The shower was amazing and loved the heater we could control in the bedroom. There was a fan there if you needed it but being October we didn't. (Air con I think you'd need in hot weather but not this weekend.||Breakfast firstly the lady on the reception wished us good morning and then we went to the breakfast area. The ladies that were on duty greeted us and it was lovely to see people enjoying their jobs. They couldn't do enough for us explained how everything worked. On Sunday morning it was a buffet breakfast help yourself. So much food if you wanted it. We had a cooked breakfast and some toast and tea. All excellent and even though a lot of guest had come down for 8 am. everyone was treated the same and the breakfast room had a lovely calmness about it. I have to say for £10.99 so much great quality food for the price. We don't eat a lot breakfast time but decided on a small cooked breakfast but did see some guests piling their plates and going back for more. It was never a problem. This morning we were the only guests in breakfast at 7:45 and today they take your order at the table. A very nice man took our order. Again breakfast was delicious. ||Must congratulate the chef and kitchen staff they kept the buffet running excellently Saturday morning . All hot and plenty of it. That takes some organisation with lots of guests coming in at the same time and not having to wait for refills. ||The whole Premier Inn Rayleigh Weir Team were amazing. Excellent Customer Service and friendly too, We will be back.||We did try the Harvester next door for a meal in the evening. They aren't linked with Premier Inn) I'm sure if they were the food would of been tasty and the food too. Service was awful in there too. ||What's important to say is Premier Inn Rayleigh is excellent as...
Read moreI recently stayed at Premier Inn for my business trip, as I have many times before, and I felt compelled to share my experience. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the breakfast. I have had to mentioned the quality in previous visits, but this time, there was a remarkable improvement that truly made my day.
The breakfast spread was exceptional, offering a wide variety of options that catered to all tastes. I was particularly impressed with the freshness and quality. It was a fantastic way to start the day, and I left feeling energised and ready to tackle my schedule.
The phrase "full and fit to burst" perfectly sums up the experience! A big thank you to the team for their hard work and dedication to making breakfast such a delightful experience from Fay who greeted us this morning with a cheerful smile and a can do attitude (Thanks for helping me and the family) and James who cooked up a storm in the kitchen. I highly recommend Premier Inn for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with an...
Read moreHad to visit the area due to family emergency and decided to stay at Premier Inn as they have always been excellent in the past, however, not this time. Totally understand the problems we have all been facing but the room we stayed in not only looked tired and in need of refurb but there was a big hole in one of the walls and when mentioned the answer was, 'yeah we're waiting for that to be done' not even a 'sorry about that can we move you' and the level of clanliness was very poor, food and drink on the skirting boards, lights not working were just a few of the issues. If I had been staying for pleasure I would have made more of an issue at the time but due to the nature of the trip I had more pressing things to worry about. On check out we didn't even get a 'thank you for staying' instead the person behind the desk just continued their conversation with another member of staff. Will be looking to the competion for any future...
