Sailors rest — Hotel in Torridge District

Well where do I start, set menu meaning 2 choices of curry, beef or vegetarian however vegetarian consisted with someone upstairs taking the beef out of the vegetarian option, however if I'd chosen again between the 2 I would of gone vegetarian as the beef was chewy tasteless and sause consisted of the sauce from butternut squash, cauliflower and broccoli with a few chopped chillies thrown in for looks, taste less meal with burnt naan bread. My wife and I stayed here for 1 night while we were away celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary. The room itself was very nicely equipped but a bit smaller than we expected. The bed was ok but I would have preferred a harder mattress but that's my personal preference. Downside was the amount of noise from outside. The old single glazed windows meant you could literally hear people's conversations as they walked past the building. The view was nice and overall we enjoyed...
