(Review resubmitted due to images not uploading) Yet another visit to a different Wetherspoons branch - no 106. A nice Wetherspoons pub, however as it is now the only one left in Worcester, after The Postal Order in Foregate St closed down, it is a rather busy pub! A bit of a mistake by Wetherspoons to be honest to leave a large City Centre such as Worcester with only one branch. It is a long thin pub with a beer garden to the rear and an additional seating area upstairs, which I didn't know until I visited the Gents. Managed to find a dirty table towards the back of the pub, which was eventually cleared. Had to order at the Bar, as the EE mobile network signal is non-existent inside the pub, therefore the Wetherspoons app would not work, not even when I managed to connect to the Pub WiFi. However as I had to order at the bar, when I returned, the table was occupied. A common issue when ordering at the bar. Ordered a Vegetarian Breakfast and a Pint of Titanic Black Ice beer, which was on offer at £1.29 a pint. Unfortunately service was quite slow, Had to chase up my order with a member of staff after a while, which then seemed to be forgotten about. Had to then chase up again, only to be advised it was a half hour wait for food! This was not advised when I ordered. Breakfast arrived after half an hour and was lukewarm. Although I appeared to have received an extra piece of toast! Not a bad pub, however Worcester really does need a second branch! As I've been finding elsewhere, cutting back to only one branch in a large area is a bit of a stupid mistake by the Wetherspoons Senior Management. Some areas have a Wetherspoons pub that is just too small/busy just for one pub in the area. Worth a visit if in the area (and if you can find a table!), however some improvement could be made overall. Edit: Returned in the evening (5:30pm) to see if service was any better. Pub was still busy and drinks arrived through in good time. However, the food order was a bit slow at arriving, around 24 minutes this time. It is a shame as this isn't a bad pub, it is just let down by slow food service. Had the 'new' 10" Crunchy Chicken and Smoked Chipotle Wrap, Chips and a Guinness.

Arrived on the hottest day of the year and note on reception to see the bar. Went to the bar and told to pop back at 2pm. I told the male bartender that I'd parked at the Cathedral multi storey and he told me that 'we have a deal with them, £6 for 24 hours'. Checked in to a comfortable room with coffee, tea and nice biscuits. Had a pizza and hot drink for late dinner, pizza good hot chocolate had to be changed. Upon checkout, I enquired about the voucher for parking. Was told that the parking deal is with another company. I told the stern male receptionist what I'd been told regarding the parking at the Cathedral multi storey. He said 'we don't have a deal with the Cathedral multi storey ,' the exact opposite of what I'd been told the day before. If I had been told accurately at the bar upon arrival, I wouldn't have had to pay £15 for parking. The staff here need to be trained on customer service and have a clear notice regarding parking incentives

Well to say I had an awful experience is putting it lightly. I had travelled all day from the other side of the country to visit my friend, and we popped in just for a quick bite as I was ravenous. Barging past the loitering drunks should have been my first clue to turn around! Ordered two pasta salads, which came out within 2 minutes, the pasta so overcooked it resembled baby vomit, with a lingering smell of mould. Obviously it had been precooked and left under the pass! I told the waiter ( who was very apologetic and nice, albeit he didn't wipe our table down after asking twice ) that it wasn't edible and we swapped it for a burger.. which as you can see in the picture posted was like something from a day old BBQ. I will never step foot in this place again. Serve drinks and NOT FOOD.
