So,I stayed here for a month and a half. I spent allot of money here. The first week or two they we're a bit decent towards me and my husband. Our first room flooded,so we had to switch to a different lt one. Meanwhile,I was told that I couldn't ask for fresh towels everyday,but the housekeepers barley stopped by our room to check in to see if we needed anything so I had to go ask either the front desk or take it off one of the carts. My second room had no working phone,and no working television so I had to go without a tv or phone for 4 days because the maintence guy couldn't come fast enough. I would make my reservations through "hotels.com" and paid for my room but I had literally five different people bug me by coming to my door seeing if I was staying another night even if I already paid. There was no phone for me to even call the front desk with. The A/C unit was gross. I asked the desk if I could move so I moved to my third room and they said I could get moved to the first floor, but than it changed to the second floor right by stairwell. That stair well smelled like straight weed. It reeked of weed! There was a thing of popeyes wings just laying in the middle of the stairs and I accidently stepped on them trying to bring my items through the doorway. There was a man in room "200" who kept threatening someone to fight them right in front of my door so I was very uncomfortable and the slamming of the door at 4am kept me up all night. I spoke to the manager and told him I was uncomfortable but he said that they had nowhere to put me. The housekeepers we're alright but there was one that was rude to me I guess because I stayed there for a month 1/2 so they got tired of me asking for clean towels. Also,I was doing laundry and I accidently left a load or two of my clothes in the laundry room for a day. I went to go grab them and I found a load of my towels just thrown in the trash,My other load that we're just clothes had dissapeared. There's a camera in the laundry facilitiy,when I went to speak to the front desk about it-They said it wasn't their responsibility and if someone stole them that their was nothing they could do about it.Mind you,there's a camera pointing at all the laundry machines/dryers 24 hours and only my towels got thrown away. I got my clothes stolen! They didn't do anything about it!The housekeepers go in there everyday and it is still fithly! My phone still didn't work in my third room and the fridges we' re constantly leaking so I would step in fridge water all the time. The sinks we're a huge problem too and they we're constantly leaking as well! There we're roaches !!!!!!! They we're crawling by my bed at night!!!!! Basically I got moved over into the dirty corner with all the loud/obnoxious people after a while because I over did my stay with them so I felt like they just started treating me like an addict. The laundry machines ate up my money a few times and I had to walk to the front desk to have my key redone over 10 times which was so frustrating .I put my whites outside my door with the trash and it never got picked up sometimes so I had to take it to the damn office myself. It was so stressful/frustrating to stay here.My husband couldn't get up to our room at the most inconvenient times and they bugged me for my payment at least 5 times a week.Three different people bugged me and knocked on my damn door in one day asking about payment even though I had taken care of it online.They didn't seem to care about having my room cleaned at all.My room was not cleaned one time since I stayed there so I had to clean it. 0/5 stars.    Read moreAfter staying here for what seemed like forever but in reality was just a couple months, not only did I have problems with managers and hotel staff but I had problems with plumbing multiple times. Yesterday was the 3rd time my water was cut off and we woke up to no warning or anything stating that water would be cut off. At the end of the day the water came back on but there was no hot water. I was told no manager was available for the rest of the day and that there would be one available today at 8:30am-9:00am. I was also told the maintenance guy would be coming in at 11pm to fix the issue. I tried calling corporate to get a better answer, I got in contact with a supervisor from there and she stated that she will send an email out to the manager on site and a manager in guest relations. This morning I went to work, my husband works from home so I had sent him to go speak with the manager on site. When he got to the office downstairs he was told the manager was training at different sites today. I had him call over to corporate and after being hung up on multiple times after waiting hours on hold to speak with someone in guest relations we gave up on getting a good answer. He ended up receiving a call from the office downstairs stating that he had a package available and that we cannot renew an extra day because corporate called the office and said we can no longer stay at the hotel. Once again I had him call over to corporate because we do not understand how it is out fault for wanting reimbursement for the water smelling like sewer water constantly also it being shut off at random times AND the water no longer coming out hot. After being put on hold multiple times for hours again he finally got a hold of a supervisor from corporate stating "I just quit today, I am going to transfer you over to a different supervisor. I am not supposed to be saying this but I suggest you get a lawyer." He was hung up on again. He ended up receiving a call from a General Manager a couple minutes later apologizing for the miscommunications and offering points through red roof as reimbursement even after expressing that we will never be staying at another red roof inn every again.
This hotel is a registered sex offender hotel, there are 3 sex offenders living there currently. There is no breakfast included. Doors are broken so no hotel cards are needed to get into the hotel anyone can just come and open staircase doors. Multiple people have been arrested and raided by swat. The laundry room ac does not work on top of certain washers and dryers do not work and if you paid for them and they dont work you do not get reimbursed for that as well.    Read moreThey deserve negative 5 stars. dirty room. empty bottles everywhere. unclean linens (bed sheets looked like they have never been changed). DRUGS on counter in my bathroom. & ROACHES. I unfortunately had no other choice after being ignored and hung up on today, than to submit photos to the Orlando police department regarding my experience/the mystery substance I found in my filthy hotel room. Did I mention I called ahead of time to double check that they would have a clean room prepared because it took me 2 1/2 hours to get there? I was assured the room would be thoroughly cleaned and ready for me upon arrival. Steven from booking.com called the main office yesterday after I gave Kiersten back my key card and asked for a refund. Steven had me on the back line while they called to speak with Kiersten. Kiersten agreed to the cancellation and refund when I was in the office even before booking.com called. yet she has not responded to the now TWO emails requesting my rightfully owed refund to be completed. completely awful experience. The unforgettably rude/ horrible excuse for a receptionist who answered the phone today hung up on me after telling me booking.com never called even though I explained to her SEVERAL TIMES that I was ON THE LINE TO HEAR THEM SPEAK WITH KIERSTEN. after I asked to speak with Kiersten I was told my refund was being refused because I was difficult. Really pathetic excuse for hotel staff. Im going to be contacting the owner and writing a letter to HomeTowne Studios because I think all of you reading this along with the owner and the police would be very interested in investigating the illicit activities they allow to happen at this hotel/be aware of how their manager and staff treat guests. Absolute WORST experience Iâve ever had in Orlando for a hotel. DO NOT WASTE MONEY HERE. Iâm waiting another day to hear back regarding my refund, if the email was not responded to, Iâll be showing up with a police escort so that they can speak with Kiersten directly regarding what illicit actives they allow on the property. That is a promise. I am beside myself regarding the way I was treated FOR NO REASON. I hope you two that made the past two days for me extremely frustrating/aggravating learn from this situation and take time to self reflect on how you treat people.
