7 Brew Coffee — Restaurant in Alafaya

I previously posted a 5 star review because of Janey it was my first time there and she was spectacular ! I have been back four times since all were great until Sat 07-19-25 @9:20 PM with the Team Lead one of the drinks I asked for very light ice, his response was we can do about 1/4 less ice, I said no about half or 1/3, he said I could do one of "two things" charge you a additional $1. for less ice or not fill the cup with product to the top !!! I said I've asked for that before and not had a problem !!! He said will I am a "Team Lead" and that is policy I could reprimand my employee for that !!!! OMG WOW I think he must have some issues with POWER he is under the illusion that he is IMPORTANT I mean I hate to burst his BUBBLE but the FIRST THING IN LIFE WE SHOULD BE IS KIND TO OTHERS !!!!! If he speaks to a customer like that can you imagine how he speaks with his coworkers !? And he really needs to learn professionalism & courtesy ! A team lead is suppose to set a example but he has severely failed ! I hate to leave a review like this because 7brew in Clermont is the best coffee shop without a doubt. I’ve been to the location countless times and they have never made one drink wrong. However the new location in Orlando is absolutely terrible. I don’t know what they’re doing wrong but myself and other members of my family are having the same experience. The drinks taste different every time, and they aren’t worth drinking. The staff is very unprofessional, I’m to assume they’re young kids or maybe early years of college but it shows. They group up, speak with each other loudly, and pay no attention to the customers. It’s seems to be a place for them to just hang out and make a few bucks while doing so. The wait time is also crazy. I waited 15 minutes total for a medium coffee. Starbucks, chicfila, all have long lines yet can still put out food and coffee quicker than a place with only coffee. I don’t really post reviews ever, but I felt the need to say something.

I ordered a large iced latte that I usually got and basically received iced milk. It tasted completely different from all the times I’ve had it here (it was white like literally just milk). I brought this up to the guy that handled our order and asked if anything could be done to give flavor to it and that I would even pay for more espresso or flavor pumps. The employee said they don’t “do that kind of thing here” and they would not fix or remake my drink. I ended up having to make espresso at home and add it to the drink myself lol. It sounds silly, but it kinda put a bad spin on the rest of my day because of the attitude this guy gave me.

I’ve worked food and retail and don’t mean to be one of those “you’ve lost a good customer!” kinds of people, because in the long run it doesn’t matter, but I hope there is some kind of culture shift because I will not be returning to this location. So I guess just pray they get...
