Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza - East Orlando — Restaurant in Florida

Nov 5th, My Wife and I came here with My Service dog. We were served by Kat & the service was really good. She was very attentive, was professional & had a great personality. The food here is definitely worth experiencing. The environment is very comfortable where you can enjoy your food. This is not your local Olive Garden, the food is top notch as well as the Service. Thanks Kat the Server & Connor the Manager for everything. Update, today 11/26 we returned & Kat was off but Alejandro recommended Mia C & he wasn't wrong. Mia C was a Great server that looked out for our convenience & comfort. He has a great personality that compliments her customer service skills. She was very attentive & caring. Now we have 2 servers to request when we come to eat here. Oh by the way, we had the Meatball & Ricotta pizza & it was great. Thanks Mia C & Alejandro & Dillion the Manager. Update 1/13/23 Today we experienced our Third time visiting this restaurant. Today Chloe took care of us and she was just as great as Mia C & Kat. Today my Wife had the Mussel Fra diavolo, i had the Chicken parm & enjoyed everything. Portions are very generous and the staff is more than pleasant. We are already planning our next visit. Thanks guys for the great service. Guess what ?. 4/27/23 Today we were served by Olivia, she was awesome, caring, attentive and on point. She made our time at Piesanos very comfortable and enjoyable. Great personality and knows her job well. Thanks Olivia. My Wife and I had the Personal Pizzas today and as always the food was awesome. She had Mushrooms & Onions and I had Garlic and extra Cheese. So if you haven't visited yet, stop waisting your time at cheap Pizza dives. Visit Piesano's, they have great food, great service and it won't hurt your wallet. Today 6/17/2023 My Wife & I brought My Daughter to eat and they ordered the Chicken Marsala and I ordered the Chicken parm sandwich. Mia H took care of us today and she was as great as everyone else who has served us in the past. Mia H was very attentive, friendly and had a warm personality. The food was great and Mia had a nice, warm personality. She was on point and always checked up on us. If she ever serves you, ask her to sing you a Christmas Carol. Thanks Mia H. Update 6/30/23 another Awesome visit where Chloe took care of us again and we saw our old friend Mia C again as well. Chloe took care of us as Always. Made my lunch order as I requested and as you can see in the pics, it was perfect. Thanks Chloe. The garlic is a great touch to compliment the food, not that it needs it but I'm a garlic fan. Meat ball sandwich was great and the pizza just as good. My wifes giant meatball plate was very tempting for me to try but I had enough food. Steve the Manager was great to talk with and everyone was on point regardless how busy it was. If you haven't visited Piesanos, get in your car and drive here. You won't regret it. Update July 22,2023, today Sarah took care of us and just the same way we have gotten excellent service before, we recieved it today with Sarah as well. My Wife & I had the Giant meatball and I had the Shells and meatball. The food as always was great and Sarah made sure everything was on point. She was sweet and professional. 5/21/2024 Update, today we had Morgan serving us and just like our other favorite servers, she joined the club where I get to review her. There's something about Piesano's staff. They all provide great service with pride in a nice atmosphere making you feel welcomed including Morgan. We had a large Pizza with extra cheese today. We kept it simple this time and as always, it was great. Morgan was attentive and friendly. She definitely met our expectations 100%. Thanks and see you...

Update 9/18/23- The GM, Steve, pulled through and exceeded our expectations with a wonderful dinner to make up for a bad prior visit. This recent visit, the food was fantastic and the service was great. Steve went above and beyond to rectify the issue and will continue to visit again and again.

8/2023- We’ve been here many times before tonight and have loved it in the past, but today was a total dud. We went after work at about 4. We walked in and stood at the counter for five minutes. There was another group waiting as well. I made eye contact with a girl in the back a few times and assumed she saw us. After standing there for forever my spouse literally went to the kitchen and peaked his head in and said “hello?? We’ve been standing here for like seven minutes”. The lady who came out apologized to us and came out to seat us, but it was the same lady who made eye contact with me to begin with.

We were sat before the other group, which I’m sure made them upset too. After being sat, it took nearly ten minutes to be acknowledged at the table and by that time it was actually a manager (I’m assuming) who took our drink order. Our actual server didn’t come to greet us or take our order for nearly ten minutes after that. She finally showed up just before we were about to walk out. We ordered our food and decided on staying.

The food came out quickly, but there were a lot of issues with that too. My husband ordered the Chicken Parm as he always does, but he gets it special. He just switches out the marinara for the meat sauce and gets Alfredo instead of the marinara for the pasta. We were told it was an up charge for switching sauces (which is… ridiculous in and of itself. What are we paying for? The chef to switch ladles? But we were told that the first time we visited so we’ve just done it every time no hassle) and he also asked for extra sauce. When the food came, there wasn’t extra sauce, there was literally a tablespoon of sauce on each item and when we told the server she said “I’ll have to ask if we can get more sauce”. If I’m paying $1.50 for each of the sauce switches ($3 total) there should be no problem giving me extra of it. The chicken parm was burned and rubbery, also no extra sauce as requested. He was not happy with this meal this go around.

My meal was mostly fine, I ordered the spicy Rigatoni Ala Vodka and it tasted great, however, the peppers they use in the dish were a huge problem. I spent 70% of the time eating my meal picking the skin of the peppers out of my mouth. It was like eating tiny sheets of plastic and was disgusting. If I order this dish again I would definitely skip the spicy. Everything else was fine.

This visit will not stop us from coming back, but the overall food quality and customer service we received today was a complete miss for us. There was only a total of three tables occupied while we were there. We opted not to speak to a manager as we already had spent an enormous amount of time...

I LOVE Piesano's, but my latest experience here was more than subpar. I went here with my boyfriend for valentines day and made a reservation around 1-2 weeks in advance for 2 people @ 7:00. I special requested a booth since they are more comfortable for me and my partner (I also wanted to wear a shorter dress but didn't want it to ride up in a normal chair for everyone to see). We showed up at 7:01, waited about 10 minutes for them to finally seat us. When they seated us they put us in a table with chairs. I went to go ask the hostess if we could switch to the open booth in the same section but she was busy with other customers (about 3 other parties). A couple got seated in the booth after us, but no biggie, there were other people about to leave.

My boyfriend and I just decided we could ask our waitress instead, but we waited literally 30 minutes until we were even asked what we wanted to drink (meanwhile the couple that sat in a booth after us were already eating their food). When we did get our drinks we politely asked if we could move to a booth since its what we requested on open table, but was denied. I'm not really sure why it was denied since there were 2-3 open booths in the same section that our server was serving.

When we did see our server, she didn't even give us silverware just napkins and plate. It wouldn't have been a big deal but I literally didn't see her for probably more than 10 minutes so I just had to sit there and stare at my salad. This same thing actual happened to the couple next to us as well, they had to ask our same server for silverware too. I also noticed that everyone who was done with their food had to wait probably 10 minutes to even get their check picked up. By the time our food came out, I wasn't even hungry anymore. I was just so upset with the service that we got. It felt like we didn't even have a server, let alone any sort of service. As soon as our entrees came out we asked for a box and the check and left.

But it didn't even end there. We went home and I went to eat my food and half of my chicken was completely inedible. I was really disappointed because I always get their chicken picatta and it is always delicious, but this time it was terrible. I think someone probably left the chicken in the oven/on the stove and forgot about it because it wasn't even rubbery, it was charred/burnt and hard as a rock to chew.

I really loved going to Piesanos before, but this date night was anything but ideal. From waiting over 45 minutes (just to get our waters) to the terrible service and food, I don't know if I will EVER go back on a busy...
