HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
This Home Depot is a total disaster.
Today, 6/22/16, I went in to pick up some items that I had ordered, and was met with pure hate, and disrespect. Victoria said, "What do you want?" with as much hate and contempt as possible. Apparently, she hates her job, and wants to take it out on the customers, or, she is trying to prove that she is better than everyone else. My guess would be the later. Her attitude is, your lucky I am even talking to you. Truly, a despicable human being. Victoria's behavior is completely unprofessional and totally unacceptable.
I told her, "Don't bother, and have the manager come out here." She got on the phone gleeing, all smiles, like we are all gaming you and there is nothing you can do about it - that was her attitude. The manager never came out. The fact that the manager never came out proves that he is part of the problem.
Most of the time, when I come to this store. I will greet some of the employees with, "How can I help you?" Because they are unable to, or refuse.
Apparently, there is no training going on here. Many employees here are unable to even greet the customers in any fashion, let alone offer any assistance. Some employees here are unable to display any common decency. The minimum requirement for a decent human being, they fail to meet.
Lets treat our customers like trash, like they're our enemies, and with much hate and contempt as possible. Is that good customer service?
No, it's actually horrible customer service, as low as you can go. You can't go any lower than this. They have hit rock bottom.
This place is really screwed up. Its a collective dysfunction - they are stroking their egos at the customers expense. They are really screwed up.
Teddy needs training:
My first interaction with this person was horrible - absolute disdain. I walked up to the Customer Service Counter and Teddy said, "What do you want?" with absolute contempt and hate. I know she is only making near minimum wage but that is no excuse for her negative behavior. Every time I see Teddy, she is always displaying some type of negative behavior - she is a 100% manipulator - totally incompetent and completely dysfunctional.
Today, I went into their store. Unable to find the product I was looking for. Looking for some assistance, I looked over at the Customer Service Counter and saw Teddy staring at me with pure hate. I walked over to the Customer Service Counter and she was on the phone telling someone that I was staring at her and that she had a problem with me before. Nothing but lies and drama - that's Teddy.
Teddy is a liar, manipulator, gamer, player, scammer. Apparently, she is working full-time on her ego at others expense, triangulating (persecutor role), and stuck in the third phase of jealousy and envy. Teddy's very negative behavior is indicative of someone who has no education, no people skills, no communication skills, and no consideration for others. Basically, all she wants to do is argue, that is her modus operandi - her most preferred way to game people.
Teddy has nothing positive or constructive to say - and all of this negativity is nothing but fabricated garbage, that she has made up, so she can harass the customers and create an environment that allows her to fluff her ego. She is nothing but a gamer.
Instead of being positive, she is negative. Instead of being helpful, she is unhelpful. Instead of being kind, she is rude. Instead of being respectful, she is disrespectful. Instead of being honest, she is dishonest. Instead of being considerate, she is inconsiderate. Instead of her doing her job, she has chosen not to do her job, and scam the customers with disrespect, contempt, and manipulation. Instead of being professional, she has chosen to be unprofessional. Her behavior is absolutely despicable, as low as you can go - treacherous.

Read moreTerrible customer service!!! Horrible experience placing over $2,000 for flooring!!! Told the order would be ready 6/12 never got notified so called in and they said they had no record of the order. Passed back and forth from one employee to the next explaining my purchase only to find out it’s on the 6/18 truck load and would be ready on 6/19 for pick up. 6/19 came and never got a notice so called again passed back and forth to different employees explaining my order plus my previous calls to the store, no one understood anything. Then reached assistant managers that told me it would be ready for pickup that day in an hour and they would contact us. Never heard from them so after loading trailer to get ready for pick up and before they closed we call again. Passed around again by different employees and ended up with another assistant manager. Again no one knew what I was talking about. I had to remind them of my Special order purchased and what they had promised me it being ready that day 3 hours earlier but no one called. Only to turn around and be told my order wasn’t in the store after all and I needed to wait even longer until 6/23 and then promised I would be contacted when it arrives. Why would random employees tell us our order is ready for pickup in about an hour??? When it wasn’t!!! Why would another employee then tell us a different story, telling us on a different day their truck is delivering our order, that our order is on that truck, and when it would be available to pick up??? So now we have been promised 4 different dates of when our special order would be ready and even told in an hour we can come pick it up only to find out it’s not even in the store?!?!? What is going on with this store?????? Someone needs to be solely in charge of special orders? That might solve a lot of confusion!!! A word of advice to ALL EMPLOYEES, if the product a customer ordered isn’t sitting right in front of you, don’t tell them they can pick it up in an hour!!!! That’s the worst thing you can do is promise a date or time to come get it and be given the run around!!!! Management needs to jump on this problem ASAP!!!! Instead of making sure your store always looks pretty I would start with customer service issues first! Please forward my complaints to this store owner, managers, and employees!!!
Also when employees speak to you in person and even on the phone, especially over the phone they aren’t pleasant at all! They never say things like, “hi how are you today,” “sorry for the inconvenience,” “we apologize for order delays,” “ how can we help you find things.” All these are phrases that are customer service 101! These people need some serious training on communication skills!!! Management runs themselves so thin covering the entire store that they don’t seem to care at all how employees act towards customers or have the time to address these issues! Businesses all over the world not just this one, all need to get back to basics in remembering that it’s all about the customers, not when is my next break or I don’t have the time to make things right with the customer because I’m to busy with this other customer! Shopping anywhere should not have to be a miserable experience just because employees have poor training or come into work with the weight of their world on their shoulders! I hope you guys can turn around the type of service you provide to your community! End of vent! Thanks for listening!

Read moreZero Stars. On Friday the 3rd I ordered 400 Pavers online to be delivered to my home on Monday the 7th. That same evening I also stopped by the store to purchase other items I needed to do this job. The pavers weigh 5000lbs so I could not transport them myself. When I picked up my other items I double checked with customer service to ensure my delivery was set. The CS reps looked at my paperwork, looked on their computers and said it was all set up and ready to go. On the 7th I took the day off, waited until 3pm. Called only to find out that they had it scheduled for the 18th. I explained to the CS rep that I had a print out from them stating that they were supposed to be delivered today. She was very firm explaining that she only saw one date and it is the original date scheduled for the 18th. I mentioned that my print out from HOME DEPOT shows the delivery date as the 7th? This went no where. So I asked her to schedule it for the 10th and I will take another day off. She did and I was willing to live with that. I understand that mistakes happen. The day before the new delivery was to show I got a call explaining that they didn't have the product in stock. I explained that I would take any color now as this had to be finished this week. She checked but didn't have enough of any color available. I then asked if she could refund me my $600 I had already paid. She called me back explaining that this was a level 3 refund? (not sure this means anything to me?) and unless I was standing there in person she could not give me a time when I would be refunded. This is a very short version of the entire experience where I was on hold several times for over 20 minutes during this last week. The online people tell me they can't adjust the order so they transfer me to the store in AV and their rep tells me that I have to talk to the online people. LoL. I was told this several times by several different employees. But magically one rep was able to get into my online order and see everything? I am still waiting for a call back from the store manager regarding my refund. I am very disappointed but also very surprised at the level of dysfunction that spirals all of the details out of control . I used to visit this store on a weekly basis. The employees have always been very nice. My beef is with the this entire experience and how I just got the longest run around in my life and was very inconvenienced over simple easy fixes. I hope HOME DEPOT does something to prevent this from happening to others. In the future I will be doing all my business across the street at LOWES .. UPDATE: Ordered online from Lowes. Called the store to confirm and they were able to access the order (unlike Home Depot) and confirm stock and delivery within 10 minutes for the next day the 10th. ...
