Super 8 by Wyndham Arkansas City KS — Hotel in Arkansas City

I looked at previous reviews recently and though this would be a bad hotel experience while traveling through the Kansas area and needing a place to stay for the night, but it over all wasn’t that bad to be honest as people were rating it recently. The staff were friendly and checked me in quick and got my keycard for my room in which I settled my stuff and rearranged my quarters for the evening. I then went to eat and stayed the night at this super 8, the shower was good with the water pressure being good and getting warm quick, housekeeping was outstanding and helpful assisting me to have the best stay as possible while I was out and not at my residence. The breakfast was good, my bed was also very comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were over all clean and very acceptable, but I have been a Wyndham supporter for almost a decade. I never have been to several Super 8’s with my time using Wyndham but this is one of the nicer Super 8’s I’ve been too. I would defiantly plan to be back when needing a place to stay. We stayed at Super 8 in Arkansas City,Ks the off Summit before I even checked in my card was ran at 1pm mind you check in time is after 3pm spoke to Deann I told her my card was only to reserve the room why did you take my money off my card was paying with cash please put my money back on my card she did then my card was ran again at 3 pm still hadn't checked in then it was ran again at 6:30 pm my card was ran a total of 6 times not acceptable to me will never stay there again. Only good thing was a young lady by the name of Christiana and young man named Will and I didn't get the housekeeper's name were so wonderful desk clerk Christiana did everything in her power to correct Deanna mistakes Deanna didn't accountability for what she did never once apologized. Please avoid this hotel I wish I had read the reviews about everything being broken and fraudulent charges. I was charged $250 after leaving for a “broke tv” which was 15 years old and burnt out in one corner and like that when I arrived. I called the hotel number the next day and it was the same disgruntled gentleman who checked us in late night for our reservation and he was very rude, argumentative said many things that ended up being a lie and would not send me any information or invoices for charges then gave me a fake email and told me he was the owner and that there is no one else to speak to and that it was his decision and final.
