East Buffet — Restaurant in Arkansas City

No star rating! Not even a half a star is worthy of the terrible food experience at this establishment. We traveled 40-45 mins to pick up our carry out food. Came home to enjoy our meal only to find a HAIR in the sweet and sour chicken. I called them and reported our unpleasant discovery. The lady that answered said she would refund the entire ticket. Due to the distance we returned 2 days later for the refund. They recanted what was originally stated by their staff in refunding the entire meal ticket and refunded only the meal that had a hair. There no apology! I called later to speak to management and the staff put the phone down and abandoned the call. You could hear them talking in the background. That is unsatisfactory customer service. I called again and asked to speak to management and was told that he/she wasn't there. I asked for the name of the manager and the staff member said she didn't know and proceeded to hang up on me. We will never return to this establishment again and warn other's of the rude...

i took my mother there on fathers day (my father passed away not too long ago) i was apauled at the service. i ask two kitchen people if they had vegitarian sushi. (i also speak spanish as did the young man that tried to tell me he didn't speak english). the waitress brought me the wrong drink to the table, i was nearly finished eating before i got my drink. i asked 3 different waitresses for my drink. one of them, a very young girl, even threw her hands in the air and stormed off saying "i'm not getting you any water" ! there was another family come in, the mother was using a walker, she obviously needed to get sat down. the waitress block thier passage refusing to let them sit down until everyone told her what they wanted to drink ! the food was ok. needless to say i didn't leave a tip and have no plans to return...

Great place. We go in for the buffet on occasion, but mostly get takeout. All of the prices are perfectly reasonable and we're always happy with our portions.

Adult pricing for kids starts at age 11, so be prepared for that. The dinner buffet offers more than the lunch, and is worth the price increase. Weekend lunch and dinner time can be busy, so if it bothers you to wait in a line at the buffet go outside of prime eating hours.

The food is very consistent, while the service has its highs and lows. The Crab Rangoon is to die for -- fantastically priced, large, and STUFFED with cream cheese.
