I was baffled and disappointed that Extended Stay America was more concerned with me and my dogs rather than the illegal activity that was happening upon the property throughout the day. I came to the office in hopes an exception for my pets as I clean up after our them when walking and that they're very well trained; During my stay I've seen countless people walk their dogs and not pick up after them; The grounds is riddled with dog poop; . Also, your employees should know that there is technology that will translate their language; I had Google translate going and I did not appreciate what it translated and said about me; No customer or patron deserves to be talked about; in any language; the same level of respect should be given across the board. I've since had to reach out to attorneys because my daughter said someone opened our door and took a picture of them. The only ones with access are Management and Housekeeping. My children are minors; and if housekeeping or any employee took pictures of them without consent, that's illegal; what if my children, wiping off and/or were naked from a bath? Actions like these shouldn't be allowed....

PLEASE READ!!! IF YOU LIKE SOME CLEANLINESS!!! (Room 370 ) My first indication that this wasn't going to be a pleasant stay was the cigarette burns in my blanket in a "smoke free hotel". The place looks like it has NEVER been cleaned. There were crumbs and who knows what else upon my arrival. The carpet has stains everywhere. The carpet and every corner of this place had never been vacuumed. The toilet had urine stains from the last visitors. The shower has black stains all inside of it. I mentioned all these things to the lady at the counter. I was told "room service" will clean my room every Wednesday. I walked up to my room late Wednesday evening to find out my key cards didn't work any more. (Strange coincidence) So I had to go the desk and get another set of key cards that also didn't work. As the lady is opening the door, she tells me that "room service" took care of the mess. They did not! The same mess I walked into my first night was still there. If you are someone with some standards for decent living this is not the place for you.

The location was the best thing about this place. First off the room wasn't clean, it had an awful smell and the deadbolt didn't lock. Front desk had zero concern about the safety of my wife and I. Besides, all of that I literally had to stay up most of the night because of the door not being able to lock. I had to stand guard so my wife could get some sleep that was until I had to fix the problem myself, because there was no one else to resolve the situation and besides that it was infested with roaches. I tried to get a full refund so that I could get my wife and I another room because she hotel was very unaccommodating to my situation and I was told that I wouldn't get a full refund until 5 business days, putting me in a chokehold and literally forcing me to stay. Went to the front desk area the following morning to get coffee and stepped in dog poop got it on my floor mat had to wash off the floor mat and my shoe and the coffee was horrible. So I had been up all night wanting a nice cup of coffee and couldn't even get that

They blocked my hot water for 4 months for a threat made to me by Bruce Haas the ceo who bragged about being the boss of the Pennsylvania mafia and bragged that he buys kidnapped girls to use as sex slaves in Pennsylvania and new york. While at this hotel for four months during the pandemic I couldn’t get hot water. The staff refused relocating me to another building with hot water. The hotel guest relations 800 number apologized every week when the staff came banging on my door after I already paid for the week one or two days before. Although the guest relations were kind, apologetic and sympathized with words, they never could enact one solution to relocate me to a room with hot water or even to stop the staff harassing me. During the four months of their weekly repeated errors of banging on my door rudely loudly yelling my name out after I paid for the week one or two days ahead of time, there still wasn’t any hot water and they still lied about being full in the main building. I watched people checking in for the first time and they told me they never stayed there before, but the front desk staff and guest relations on the 800 number still couldn’t solve the simple problem. They constantly refused to comp me any nights stay while the hot water was out, and they forced me to stay in a building without hot water during the pandemic and during two cold months. The intranet commercial for the hotel channel always told me of their stay safe stay confident guarantee 24 hrs a day on repeat, while I couldn’t find anyone to help me and it was clear that Bruce Haas the ceo was pushing them all to never help me and to never allow me hot water. Because I know it was the bad man Bruce Haas who threatened me before he did it but I didn’t know it was him until he did it to me in that hotel and I got his cell phone number and called him about it and heard his voice. I found him. I tried to simply get a refund because I know the hotel policy at the Lewisville location credits me a free night if the hot water goes out at all if only even for an hour the manager comes to my door and reminds me that I get a free night. I still haven’t found out for sure if they only did it to my room and the others all played along or not. I think maybe it was only happening to me and was persecution because there would’ve been more complaints and a class action lawsuit. I already had an open complaint on this with the BBB for more than a year after trying to seek help from the hotel and hotel corporate directly. Response to answer- I saw how you looked into it by Bruce Haas calling my phone and threatening me and then sending a human abduction team to my hotel room in san antonio. Bruce Haas is probably sitting with my quilt and shotgun at his hide out feeling very safe and happy with his evil self. They stole all of my stuff for him and they threatened my cousin my attorney to not help me in fighting the false charges they found a corrupt state trooper had tried it before many times and they probably are with him and the judge and Bruce Haas. I am not sure I want any more of the way you look into things. After two years of always getting that horrible false promise of looking into it, and getting a horrible false promise of they are working toward a solution with me, I still haven’t gotten a single bit of help and haven’t gotten one single offer of a solution of any type. The bad fake cops you sent to separate me from my things and steal my things really isn’t a solution but I did find out what you we’re working on because that Bruce Haas told me before he did it. This time I will tell the world instead of waiting for more cover ups and more false promises from you and from corrupted agencies, corrupt officials and corrupt state troopers. BTW what are you going to do when you find out I talked to the feds? Because Bruce Haas threatened me brazenly on my phone and then sent the attacks which he had threatened to me. It seems too many people aren’t afraid of doing wrong for him. It’s already clear I was targeted at both hotels...

My name is Bobbi Sanchez. I am a 66-year-old female US Army veteran. I have found that the older I get, the harder it is to contribute to society as I am accustomed to doing. Since age 50, I have had to fight stereotypes every step to show I am still an asset that needs and deserves to keep working. I am stuck at the Extended Stay America on Watson Road in Arlington, TX and I have more than a suitcase or two. Because of previous landlord issues, I have an entry on my credit report that makes getting an apartment impossible. In January 2022, a collection agency notified me that my former landlord filed a collection on me and put it on my credit report. It said I still owed them rent, and they demanded I pay it. I contacted legal aid, and the lawyer told me to request a copy of their ledger for the past year to show if they accepted the checks from ERAPS. I cannot prove they took the checks and tried to extort me, but I believe they did. WAK Management has that kind of reputation. Of course, that made my ability to get a decent apartment IMPOSSIBLE, so I am stuck in a hotel that takes almost all my pay every two weeks in rent. I am now up to $979.00 every other week.

I am getting harassed by the management because iI have "too much stuff" in my room and that I needed to clean it to meet their standard. Since I am a guest I have no renters rights and no privacy. They can enter my room when they please, etc. The last straw can three days ago when I was there was a balance on my bill of $250. I never authorized it but they took it upon themselves to charge me a cleaning fee to clean a room I didn't want them to touch. They were going to lock me out of my room unless I paid this balance. I have a small dog and they were going to lock me out and me not able to get to him. Needless to ay, I threw a fit and it is all on camera. They relented a bit when I told them I had just started a job and did not get paid until 30 September, I had no money to give them and since I work in Frisco Texas, that is a 45 minute drive. I am not even sure where I will even get food or gas money and these idiots want $250 to pay a charge I didn't authorize.

My advice to you is that if you have to stay more then a month here-find someplace else. They have rules that make it seem more like a half-way house or a prison than a hotel. I am very shook up and upset and I am desperately trying to find another place to live that I can afford. The management is totally greedy and ling term guests are just means to an end. I cannot afford $2000 per month rent in a place I am...

PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES!!!

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE A SERVICE/SUPPORT ANIMAL!

  1. WON'T allow service or support animals in violation of Americans with Disabilities Act, The Fair Housing Act, and The Rehabilitation Act of 1973. The corporate website says they are pet friendly though fees may apply except for service/support animals. After a weeks stay and reserving and paying for a second week we were told by Brooke that the animal goes or we go. And that we will be charged a $250 pet fee.The excuse given by Brooke is that they " are an independently owned franchise and don't have to following corporate rules." (AND apparently federal law.) She said that I am "not an actual tenant (even though we'd paid for two weeks) and that it's the same as if we were "staying at a friend's home and the friend said no pets" I tried to show her the official housing letter and certificate but she refused to look at it and said it "doesn't mean anything ".

  2. Now for the issues that could be categorized more as inconvenient, maintenance, false advertising.

a) the first thing we noticed was that there was no fan in the bathroom. Maintenance did come and take care of that fairly quickly.

b) The website advertised a fully appointed kitchenette, it was not. You have to ask for dishes (only allowed to have two plates...there are three of us). Absolutely no utensils available except for plastic spoons, a spatula, and a slotted spoon. No forks, no knives, just plastic wrapped plastic spoons. I had to go to Walmart to purchase plates and utensils. Money I couldn't afford spare.

c) Three times a staff member knocked on my door at approximately 10am asking if we were checking out even though we had paid in advance. One staff member said she would be fired if I didn't make another payment. (I saw her the next day and let her know that I'm glad she wasn't fired after alll).

To sum up, a) Staff does not understand the concept of constitutional rights. b) It is the policy of this Extended Stay America to openly and illegally discriminate against people with Disabilities.

c) Customer service skills are non existent. I'm assuming as a matter of policy.

d) Appropriate authorities will be made aware of the Policies at the Extended Stay America in Arlington, Tx. which discriminates against people with Disabilities and their policy of VIOLATING THREE FEDERAL laws meant to protect Americans from this very discrimination. Yet, it still happens today at this Extended Stay America.

So shameful.

And your response is all...
