Overall my stay was decent; my check in was quick. I was offered the virtual check in so it was easy to go get my keys. At first glance, my room seemed clean. After looking at the floor I can tell they didn’t clean it. There was hair all over my bathroom and soot in the tiles.
The few issue I noted during my stay:
Parking – I was a person that came in really late 3am, 4am, it was difficult to find parking. The mac trucks took up 4 and 5 spaces so there was limited space for everyone else. The hotel should consider an alternative parking spot for the big trucks. Then I had to park by trees and bushes wondering if a homeless person would pop out. There’s no security and the side door is locked so it is a little weary walking to the front door. My bathroom was dirty, I had hair that clearly wasn’t mine. I didn’t end up getting services, I just cleaned my own bathroom. Housekeeping brings small children to work; I went to get towels and there was a kid approximately 10 years old changing the pillowcases in someone’s room. This is concerning because kids shouldn’t be performing housekeeping services. Housekeeping doesn’t pay attention so they have your room wide open with your valuables available for anyone to walk in and take them. Then no one in housekeeping speaks English; luckily for me I speak Spanish so I could communicate but it is challenging for those that don’t. The AC was difficult to regulate in my room; either it was too hot or too cold They need a designated smoking area. People were literally smoking right outside the front doors and the smoke comes right into the hotel. You have to walk through the billow of smoke each time. The laundry facility was defective. I had to wash my clothes twice because when I took them out, they were soaked. I don’t know if soap was available but I ended up using my own. I went to the front desk and “Tay” was there. I asked her for more quarters to finish my clothes and she told me no she couldn’t just give me change. But I clearly had change, just no quarters. The wi-fi was weak, if you lock your device you have to log back in each time…very annoying The lobby doors are often locked late night. The attendant is out of sight. The side doors also are locked. You have to beat on the doors to get in.
The hotel could definitely use some paint/touch up. The hotel is a bit shabby. I only had breakfast once time. It was okay but I didn’t eat down there often.

Read moreI have stayed at this hotel before. The room started ok until we woke up Sunday morning to get ready for the day. My wife had just finished showering and she screamed. I ran to the bathroom and she was showing me a used condom that was in her towel. This was disgusting. This was planted there because it was in the middle of the towel and you would never see this. I went down to show the manager but she was not on site due to it being Sunday. The staff told me they would make sure the room was cleaned again. When we got back from our outings, we came back to the room not being touched. They never came in and changed out the towels or even cleaned the room again. I had to go down the hall and get new towels off of the housekeeping card. We woke up Monday morning and before breakfast, I went down to visit with the Manager. She told me that she got the message about the condom in the towel and stated she was sorry. She stated there was nothing she could do about it. The rest of the stay was very uncomfortable. My family stated everytime they walked past the front desk it felt weird. The staff would not look at us and would not make eye contact. My In-Laws were staying in the room across the hall from us and they stated the same thing. Both my In-Laws and I are IHG Members, I used to be Gold Status until I retired several years ago. I still travel some, as you can look at my states over the past several years. I know I have silver status. In all my years of travel both for work and pleasure, nothing like this has ever happened to me. This is not only a disgusting situation, but in the day and times we live in this is also a way for people to contract diseases. This is unsanitary. I was told that after persons and/or persons leave a room all the towels/sheets are changed out, but not in this room. There is no telling how long that has been in the room. This is the most horrible stay I have ever had at a...
