Extremely displeased with our stay. The good first. Front desk lady was nice. Bed was comfortable. That's where it ends. We booked our room specifically with a fridge because of kids and expected to have leftovers since we wouldn't be arriving until around midnight. The BAD: - Our room was missing the tv remote. For whatever reason, the tv was unplugged and there was no remote to be found, so we couldn't use the tv. - The fridge was missing. Even though we booked and paid for a room with a fridge, there was no fridge. - The bathroom door wouldn't shut and stay closed. This was a danger incase our toddler got curious in the middle of the night. - The main door to the room appeared to have been kicked in at one point. The strike plate was completely missing, the lock barely engaged with the hole in the door jamb, the security latch was also missing, and the door frame was so crooked that you could see out and into the room with the door closed. I'd assume this is a MAJOR privacy issue. We rely on the security latch to keep our kids from trying to escape the room but we lost a lot of sleep just trying to make sure they didn't get up in the middle of the night and try to open the door. - While the room was mostly clean, we did get a bonus can of mountain dew in our window-sill. - The next morning, we got to breakfast about 45 minutes before it closed but the hot food was all gone. There was no more hot food being made, so we settled on yogurt and cereal. - Went back for seconds on the yogurt and found that every single yogurt in the cooler was expired by 4 days. Cant' really prove if this expired yogurt was the cause of my son's upset stomach for the 5.5 hour drive home or not, but if a business is going to offer up complimentary food, it should not be expired just for public health reasons. My list of bad was more than I cared to deal with at midnight on a Saturday. I had 2 cranky kids with me that just were ready for bed and I didn't want to mess around with playing music hotel rooms. I sucked it up, slept light, and will never stay here again. The lady at the front counter was very nice, and she likely may have helped with all our issues, but it was just too much and almost to the point where we would have gone next door to the other hotel in the area. The 3 main reasons I won't stay here again though are the following: - Security issues: The door likely could have easily been opened up with a credit card the way the door was. - Privacy Issues: The door being cracked open, we actually went into the room and moved a footstool in front of the door. We also hung towels up so you couldn't peer in through the crack. - Food safety: Expired yogurt only scratches the surface to what else could be expired in the food area. Milk, OJ, Juice, any cooking products in the hot portions that I never got, etc. The slogan right inside my key packet says "Get your Moneys Worth". If that's true, then this room should have been 10 bucks, not 100.

These people don't think that American federal law pertains to them, you charged me for an ADA Federal canine, that is illegal, because I'm an honest person I told you that I had them with me, and then I had their shot records and paperwork with me, then you call my room harassing me asking me for all kinds of stuff which is against federal law, you have messed with the wrong infidel, you then had CLC call me, and we had a nice conversation, I was also on the phone with someone high up with Federal Ada certificates, my next step is a lawyer. You people think that you're above the law because you don't come from our country. Your pillows must be from the 18th century, I suggest bringing your own if you're going to stay here, look for more of my reviews on hotels because I travel this great nation of the United States of America, you can also look at my Facebook pages for places that charge for ADA Federal canines as I expose people not from this country. Some are very nice, but these people were hateful.

The staff was extremely polite, friendly, and courteous. The room was clean, yet there was a stale odor to the place. Although the bed was comfortable, there were stains on the room chair which kept me from sitting there. The shower was adequate. Although the bathroom was small, consisting of a shower and toilet, there is a small sink with low water pressure in the room. There is an indoor pool on the premises, and they serve a hot breakfast consisting of eggs, sausage, bacon, pastries, and juice. The WiFi works great. Overall, this is a no-frills hotel designed for people who are just looking for a place to sleep overnight and be on their way the next day. The amenities provided are good enough, but don't expect anything resembling luxury. Perhaps the chain is designed for just that.

The gentleman at the front desk was somewhat difficult to work with. I gave names for people staying in the room and was later denied key cards without any explanation or reasoning. I had prior plans later the evening of check in day and went in and provided my Drivers License, and instructed one of my friends to get a key card after we could get into our room. I had a second person ask for a key card and he was denied that and was told to ask me. As previously mentioned I had prior engagements and I could not answer the phone at that time. Nearly after 48 hours after we checked out I was charged for nearly 225 additional dollars to my debit card. I’m not sure why I was charged this and was not informed why this happened. Both rooms were cleaned prior to checkout with the exception of trash. The trash was collected and in trash cans. We were not notified of any issues that we caused. If we would have caused damage or complaints made against us I would understand the additional charges. I made three attempts to contact the hotel on October 22nd and did not get answered. I understand staff could be busy at times as I myself work with the public. A quick answer with a response of please hold would have been more than enough to satisfy me. If this additional charge is a company policy being told this in advance would have been appreciated. Other than this additional charge and some sort of explanation for denied key cards we had a great stay. The room appeared clean, toiletries were well stocked, anytime I saw staff in the hallway they were friendly. The room temperature was satisfactory and the hotel location to the wedding venue we went to was phenomenal. I very much would stay at this specific hotel again, or any other Choice/Quality chain with the upkeep of the everything. However, I would be hesitant due to this extra charge without any explanation as it has put an unexpected debt of 225 that was not expected and put a hold on other plans that I have made...

I booked this hotel for my sister who was traveling with her three small children from NY back to Indiana. My credit card was charged $105 dollars for this room. When my sister arrived, she did not have a credit card to charge for room incidentals. She offered to pay them cash for the incidentals, which the hotel refused. I then offered to let them charge my credit card for the incidentals and offered to give them my credit card information over the phone. They refused to do this as well. They ended up turning my sister and her three children away from the hotel at 9:30 at night when she was exhausted and unsafe to drive further. They had no problem keeping the $105 dollars that I had spent on the room. When I called the hotel the next day asking for my money back, they refused and were really nasty to me. They told me I would have to request the refund through Expedia. Expedia was nice and helpful and sent a request for a refund to this horrible establishment, but the hotel refused to issue a refund. So, I paid for a room and my sister was not allowed to stay. When you promise a service and then do not follow through and then don’t refund someone’s money that’s called theft! So not only are the owners of this hotel bad business owners, uncaring and unreasonable, but they are also thieves! Do not stay at this hotel if you want a good experience, but also don’t support such an immoral place...
