We were not told that housekeeping was to come every third day and I didn’t figure it out until the third day when I called down to the front desk. Even when the maid came the third day, we weren’t given anymore toilet paper so we had to use tissues. We never had enough towels and that was frustrating. By the time I realized we didn’t have enough clean towels, I would be coming out of the shower and wet. At that moment it’s too late to call the front desk, especially when we weren’t in our room that often and only at night. Seeing all the garbage piling up outside everyone’s hotel room door was a clear indication that maid service should resume every day again. Friday and Saturday night, the whole parking lot was full and we were asked to not park in the lot across the street. So we had no where to park. Extremely frustrating to see some people parked so that they took up two spots. We had to drive around to look for parking elsewhere both of those nights. And then it was a little embarrassing and silly to have to ask for our complimentary breakfast from the front desk attendant. It was so awkward that we only utilized this free service 2 out of our 5 day stay. We were so excited to use the indoor pool because where we are from, it’s still cold in early March. And most of our pools are still closed due to COVID. But this pool was only heated to 86 degrees which is extremely cold still. And the hot tub was out of service. It was definitely the biggest bummer of this hotel stay as we picked this hotel due to the indoor pool and hot tub. Our 3 boys looked forward to swimming over our whole stay but instead swam for 1 day at 30min and rightfully complained that it was way to cold to enjoy. The pool was always empty when we walked by so we assumed most visitors felt the same that we did. Overall our stay at this hotel was quite a let down and I will definitely have to do more research and ask more questions before shelling out hundreds of dollars for a hotel stay. The things you used to expect in a quality hotel are just not there anymore. One good thing was the front desk staff, they were friendly and helpful...

The bed isn't as comfortable as I thought it would be but, the blankets were extremely comfortable. They offer a pool and hot tub except that it faces the parking lot with windows. I'd prefer it face the back where there isn't parking and people constantly walking by. They even have a basketball court. The staff was nice for the most part. Chris is an amazing employee. He literally goes above and beyond to be helpful. I called a few times about my reservation and he answered the phone and then when I got there he helped me solve an issue that could've caused me to be unable to finish cheking in. He is the little hipster dude with the fans mustache. Suuuper nice. The breakfast could've been better. I was extremely unsatisfied with it. The only fruit offered were grape's, melon, and bananas. I was really craving an apple and checked back all 3 days. There seemed to be less on the breakfast line each day. If someone is paying for a room specifically for the breakfast then I would expect them to offer evwrything each time. To come down one day and have pineapple and then expect it the next day and it not be there is disappointing. On my final day I overheard the lady worker (heavy set lady with black hair) trip out on a few people. She was overwhelmed and maybe had a bad day. Either way it was no way to treat someone who just got there and asked about eggs. I let the front desk know because thas not how you handle a situation. Maybe she just needed a break. They are 15 mind away from the closest bar or activity and offer no bar at the hotel. It's quiet and nice but, I would've stayed closet to the city if I had known it was the exact same hotel as the one by the University. Maybe next time. They were extremely lenient on the check out time. It was supposed to be noon but they let me check out at 2. This was extremely helpful because I needed to drive very far and needed a nap before heading out on the road....
Read moreAfter reading all of the reviews just to make sure that I was not the only one thinking that this hotel is lacking in so many areas especially customer service with their front desk agents.., I was happy to know that I was not wrong. I booked with Marriott points that actually covered my entire stay, I was charged $60 fir a so called room purchase and given the runaround that this is some thing that Marriott does, a lie...I called Marriott myself and they could not understand why I was charged so they had to open up a case. And I just checked TPG this is a charge that is a clerical error an interview with Marriott and TPG the rep stated that it should be disputed.
To add another insult to injury, the clerk told me when I checked in that there were only handicapped rooms available and she told me that I only could be on the first floor. Then miraculously there was a room available for me on the fourth floor somehow… She was not friendly, not well-versed on Marriotts policies...And honestly had both the Marriott wrap from titanium elite service as well as myself completely confused on why that $60 charge occurred.
And I agree with a few of the reviews on here, the pantry area was pretty much empty when I came.
Hospitality should be number one when marketing any brand… I work in marketing that’s what makes the world run. that’s what causes consumers to want to consistently patronize a business. The persons on the front line i.e. your front desk clerks should be the most hospitable and leaving a good lasting impression so that patrons/ guests would want to keep coming back.
Unfortunately this is one hotel that I don’t recommend. This is my second time coming here and I am completely aghast this second time around.. I will not come back to this hotel again because of that one front desk agent and that erroneous $60 charge... I am definitely fighting it because it should not be charged to my hotel room, considering I had points that covered my entire stay. Do not believe the BS that they charge you even if you book...
