Read moreWell considering the hotel was almost empty, we didn’t expect to be in the room right next to the hotel’s laundry/boiler room. We didn’t realize that’s what it was until the next morning. Also the trucks are running all night 50 feet down from the room. Our tv stopped working in the last inning of the baseball finals between Toronto and Seattle and when we called the front desk, he came to check it out and then said, ya these tv’s are old and actually can’t rent 2 rooms out because they don’t have working tv’s. Well I guess you have a 3rd room now. There is light coming in the room between the door frame and the brick wall as well as the door needs weatherstripping. And the ac/heat units can be heard all night long from other rooms. Had to turn ours off because it was so loud, then had to listen to the other rooms units. There is a sign saying the room has been cleaned especially for us…well I don’t think so. There was dust on all the furniture, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, which I actually walked into one as I went to the bathroom area, then a spider fell down from it. This will not be my “Choice Hotel” again, because there isn’t any “Quality”...
Read moreHotel did not meet the level of quality I was expecting from a Choice member hotel. The room was clean and staff responsive to our needs but recently made cosmetic changes were not of the higher quality I was paying for. The room air conditioner was very noisy with the compressor rattling constantly. The electrical outlets were loose (bedside light would not stay plugged in). Appeared that the plates on the outlets had been replaced when room was redecorated but the outlets and switches themselves had not been replaced. There were no instructions within the room on how to operate the TV or a map/listing of where hotel services were. I could see daylight clearly around the room door when closed with gaps that could allow insects to get into the room. The circuit breaker panel in the room was fully exposed. There was no hand soap in the room and when we asked for some the staff person said it had been ordered but hadn’t arrived. The air conditioning in the lobby and where breakfast items were was...
