Travelling from UK on a road trip we stopped here in the caboose for 2 nights. Loved it! The caboose was spacious, clean and everything we needed provided. The location is excellent for Bandera main street, walking distance. The pool was great to cool off. Cannot fault it, Debra was so friendly and helpful as was the handyman (sorry I've forgotten his name). We would have booked it again for a couple of nights on our return journey but sadly it was already booked up.

We came for the eclipse and discovered a gem of a place. The owners are absolutely the sweetest people and not out to scam everyone like so many others in the area. This is something that we really appreciate. It is very close (walking distance) to town. We will be coming back

I’m rating this a 5 because of the people that work at the park. From check in to check out I felt very welcome. The amenities are probably a 4 star and are nice. The location on the river is a plus about I never got down to see it. You will not be disappointed with your stay.

So far we've been here for 2 hours and we've already been verbally assaulted by the creepy neighbor who dropped so many f-bombs, he manged to use the word "f*k" as an adjective, noun AND verb all in one sentence! Apparently we woke his dog up and it started to bark, so he had to walk it. Dude? If you can hear your neighbors snoring, it's pretty safe to say that your dog must bark constantly -especially since you keep it zipped up in a green cammo tent (which is incidentally 2 feet from our front door). Yes, we got here at 3am. My apologies. Some of us don't actually LIVE here and work for a living so it takes us a little bit longer, therefore, we're going to get here a little later...this particular rv "resort" allows late arrivals - the tenants, well, I guess they are the real shot callers. The "spacious pull-through lots" are a load of crap. We have 3 slide outs and I'm pretty sure that as soon as the sun comes up, "f-bomb guy" is going to knock on the window and ask us to pass him the toilet paper. Cars and various pull trailers block your lot space making it almost impossible to maneuver close enough to hook up your electricity, etc... We really just wanted to bring our travel trailer out and pull our Harley so we could enjoy a little riding but now it looks like we'll be spending our morning finding different accommodations. Their website is a bad joke. Don't waste your time or money staying in this dump. Imagine "Uncle Eddie" yelling, "Merry Christmas -shtters full" and you will have an accurate depiction of Pioneer RV Resort. Run. Screaming. Just don't wake the damn...

Staff was great the place is quite we paid extra for our kids and my husbands cousin who was visiting from MX. I gave a 1 star review because hubby’s cousin wanted to use the hot tub there was an older lady already in it, he speaks English and asked her how to use the timer and was ignored. The lady ignored him and got out then began questioning him where he changed into his bathing suit, if he was a paying customer, what spot he was staying at ect. I came over to see what was going on the lady began accusing him of changing into his bathing suit by the pool. I told her no he was wearing his swim trunks when I drove to the front from our spot. She begins questioning where I’m staying. I told her I didn’t have to tell her and that she was being rude. I went to the front to complain just in case she decided to go accuse him of anything he didn’t do. Turns out she is an employee, and by the way they immediately knew who I was talking about it seems like she is normally like this, her name is Gail. I’m really upset that an employee would be racist and rude to a paying customer, I had to explain to my kids what racism is due to the way she treated their uncle. Will not be coming back unless Gail undergoes some serious customer service training. I cannot believe they proudly display a sign that says they are a professional member of the Texas association of campground members with an employee who was the opposite of...

LOVED this place !! We wintered here. They clean bathrooms/ shower room daily, the grounds are VERY WELL KEPT. Has a nice playground for kids. Always fixing fences, painting etc. Place has an outdoor pool ( not heated) and a nice hot tub. Rec room for exercise, or play pool. Nice laundry room. Away from most traffic noise. In winter there are a group that organizing events, like breakfast on Saturday for $4./per person. Same for Monday night hamburgers with all the fixings, or a potluck. Every other Wednesday, there was an outing to show us some of the area things of interest. Low cost events, usually just pay for your lunch. Sites have some grass and have a picnic table. You bring your own fire pit. No firewood for sale there. Town of 1,000 pop. Has alot to offer for places to eat or places to go listen to live music/ dancing. Town always hopping with visitors for Maudi Grad. Or Valentine's events or Bikers Rally, lower key than Sturgis. Great driving areas for bikers. ,We will return here next winter season. Great winter monthly rates, offers sewer, cable tv and you pay for electric as you use it. Lots of...
