Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Barstow — Hotel in Barstow

Superstars at this location are Sonia, Tradessa, Nannette and Laura. Soon after our stay at this Fairfield in Barstow approximately three weeks ago, my husband and I returned this month on the 16th. Everything and everyone was just as nice. In particular, I’d like to mention Sonia & Laura at the breakfast bar; Tradessa and Nannette at the front desk. During our previous visit and this time too, Sonia was on her toes; she maintained spotless cleanliness on all counters and kept all items replenished. While we were having breakfast, we noted that not a single guest had to wait for any food or drink. Sonia interacted with all guests in a thoroughly professional manner with courtesy and care; she responded to every request with alacrity. You’d think her face would show a trace of fatigue, but absolutely not. She was bright and cheerful all morning. She is an asset to her employer. Laura was helping Sonia with a consistently cheerful smile.

Nannette happily welcomed us upon our arrival on the 16th and Tradessa greeted us next morning with her signature smile and animated spirit. This team deserves kudos. The franchisee has hired and maintained awesome staff.

Tradessa, at the front desk, made our stay at the Fairfield Inn a great pleasure. As soon as my husband and I entered, Tradessa greeted us with awesome enthusiasm; she made us feel welcome as if we were her personal guests. We had arrived totally exhausted after almost 11 hours on the road. Tradessa’s warm welcome magically made us forget our fatigue. After we had checked into our room, we returned to ask her a few questions; and she responded in the same joyful manner. She spoke highly of the management, which gave us the impression that she was proud of her employer and her place of work. We noticed her interacting with other guests in the same amiable manner with professional decorum. Tradessa takes pride in her work, making guests feel relaxed and welcome. Such interaction makes guests want to return to this location. Considering my husband’s Lifetime Platinum Elite status, my husband and I are accustomed to the Marriott hospitality; but we would like to say that Tradessa is an exceptionally outstanding member of the Marriott team. Furthermore , the entire facility was clean and very well maintained. The breakfast buffet offered good selections, and the fruit was fresh.
