We stay at 25 - 30 hotels a year for business and leisure, so we have a pretty good idea of what to expect at each price point. This Marriott Residence Inn was beyond spectacular - exceeding all our expectations. We brought quite a few members of our family to this hotel for a Hurricane Evacuation (including grandparents, teenagers and pets) and we cannot say enough on how diverse our group's needs were and how excellent our stay was for four nights. The rooms were so well equipped, brand new, stylish, and squeaky clean. The housekeeping staff was awesome at dropping off needed supplies. The employees were beyond accommodating (early check-in, rooms together, pets welcome). My husbands parents loved the breakfasts and evening happy hours and outdoor fire pit seating area with grill and games (they didn't even need to leave the hotel), my teenage daughter loved the outlet mall right next door and an excellent mani/pedi salon. My teenage son loved Top Golf around the corner and so many restaurant choices. The pets loved the exterior property (with designated pet clean-up areas) and so close to the airport we were able to perform two round trips in 30 minutes or less. This visit was not a planned vacation, but the experience (especially at a time of distress) was top-notch. Other guests had big smiles on their face the entire time - I've never seen so many people enjoying the lobby and lounge areas of a hotel like this one. Please share our tremendous appreciation with the hotel staff - we truly appreciated them...

So I really liked this hotel. It had UDIs gluten free muffins and chocolate milk for breakfast. There was also a nice waffle maker. The hot selections for breakfast changed daily.|One day they had bagels, another day biscuits. The eggs were edible, but a weird texture. ||The windows do slide open in the rooms, but had two separate locks on each window. There was a shear blind and black out curtains on each one. | |There were lots of kitchen appliances, silverware, bowls, and glasses. I had to put the knives in the cabinet to keep away from kids. A small dish washer in bottom cabinet.|Our chairs were in the kitchen area, so bar top height, which is not great for little kids.||The closet doors are a kid magnet. The cabinet lock I brought was not long enough to be used on the handles. A large counter by closet and bathroom holds a large suitcase easily. ||The sofa was also a pull out bed. It had slick leather-like pillows which moved around easily. There was a small table and square ottoman, which we tucked under the large desk with ease. The TV pivoted around to face bed or sofa. ||The bathroom was clean. Adjustable shower head with good pressure and instant hot water. Good foot rest in shower. ||We could hear the airplanes some, but not a bother. We faced Trojan Drive and could easily watch them going by to land and take off all day. ||We liked the location and would definitely stay here again. Right by Harris Teeter, lots of food places, and Charlotte...

As a healthcare professional traveling for business, my recent stay at the Residence Inn was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the friendly staff made me feel welcome and attended to all my needs with a warm, professional demeanor. The suite I stayed in was incredibly spacious, even larger than the studio apartment I had during my college years. The kitchen was a highlight, well-equipped and generously sized, making it easy to prepare meals and feel at home. The walk-in shower was a luxurious touch, adding to the overall comfort of the room. The outdoor swimming pool was a fantastic amenity, providing a perfect spot to unwind after a long day of meetings. The mattress, sheets, and pillows were super comfy, ensuring a great night's sleep and leaving me refreshed for the next day's activities. Location-wise, Residence Inn is ideally situated close to several key attractions, including the CTL Airport, Outlet Mall, US National Whitewater Center, Top Golf, Carowinds, Bank of America Stadium, Downtown Charlotte, Museums, etc. This made my stay not only convenient for business but also enjoyable during my downtime. Overall, the Residence Inn exceeded my expectations with its excellent facilities, prime location, and exceptional service. I highly recommend it to any business traveler looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Took a road trip to Charlotte and chose this hotel because it had good reviews and offered free EV charging. Our experience here was wonderful. Has a Tesla Destination charger (NACS) and two Chargepoint J1772 chargers (free). Worked great although one dispenser of the ChargePoint was out of service. Wasn’t an issue for us, thankfully. Hotel was clean, well maintained, and staff went above and beyond to make our stay great. Last, appreciated that the parking lot was well lit and had cameras throughout after reading about numerous car break-ins at other nearby hotels.

Staying at this hotel this past weekend was an amazing experience. The hotel was gorgeous. The staff was super friendly and hospitable. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything needed for a weekend stay. They serve hot breakfast that includes waffles sausage eggs and bacon. The wifi works very well. If you have a dog there's doggy bag stations outside. I would definitely stay here anytime I'm in the area.
