We stay at 25 - 30 hotels a year for business and leisure, so we have a pretty good idea of what to expect at each price point. This Marriott Residence Inn was beyond spectacular - exceeding all our expectations. We brought quite a few members of our family to this hotel for a Hurricane Evacuation (including grandparents, teenagers and pets) and we cannot say enough on how diverse our group's needs were and how excellent our stay was for four nights. The rooms were so well equipped, brand new, stylish, and squeaky clean. The housekeeping staff was awesome at dropping off needed supplies. The employees were beyond accommodating (early check-in, rooms together, pets welcome). My husbands parents loved the breakfasts and evening happy hours and outdoor fire pit seating area with grill and games (they didn't even need to leave the hotel), my teenage daughter loved the outlet mall right next door and an excellent mani/pedi salon. My teenage son loved Top Golf around the corner and so many restaurant choices. The pets loved the exterior property (with designated pet clean-up areas) and so close to the airport we were able to perform two round trips in 30 minutes or less. This visit was not a planned vacation, but the experience (especially at a time of distress) was top-notch. Other guests had big smiles on their face the entire time - I've never seen so many people enjoying the lobby and lounge areas of a hotel like this one. Please share our tremendous appreciation with the hotel staff - we truly appreciated them...

The cabinet lock I brought was not long enough to be used on the handles. A large counter by closet and bathroom holds a large suitcase easily. ||The sofa was also a pull out bed. It had slick leather-like pillows which moved around easily. There was a small table and square ottoman, which we tucked under the large desk with ease. The TV pivoted around to face bed or sofa. ||The bathroom was clean. Adjustable shower head with good pressure and instant hot water. Good foot rest in shower. ||We could hear the airplanes some, but not a bother.
