Read moreWe were extremely displeased during our stay at this hotel, so much so we decided to leave a day early. When we first walked in we were somewhat uneasy at the number of patrons walking the lobby without masks. Given that we would not be spending much time in the space, we pushed our concerns aside. We were, after all, looking forward to enjoying the many amenities the hotel advertises. We were put off by the fact that our room, 212, was directly in front of the elevators despite repeatedly requesting a quiet room. However, the hallways seemed quiet, so we once again decided to let it pass and enjoy our weekend. We found the room itself to be basic for the price we were paying. The bathroom was utterly subpar: the tub was chipped, and mold was growing on the grout. We asked to be moved but were told there were no other rooms downtown. We had plans for dinner that night, so we decided to stay. The next day, we found out not only was our room in front of the elevators, but it was also above their party venue. A wedding was being held that violated all social distancing ordinances at the state and city level (we checked before complaining) and very lively entertainment that could clearly be heard in our room starting at noon. We finally had enough when we returned at 10 PM from dinner and it became clear that we would not be able to rest until the celebration downstairs ended, and there was no guarantee when that would be. Our complaint was met with hostility, though in the end, we prevailed and received a refund for the one night. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I would certainly...
