Used to be better.
Just went to try their seasonal drinks and the guy behind the counter wasn't putting the seasonal topping like whip cream and sprinkles on any of the seasonal beverages. Not to mention I stood at the end waiting for my sandwich (they were packed inside) and he wouldn't raise his voice to call out names.... there were four beverages and two food items called out while I waited and no one could here him so no one came to grab their stuff. Family infront of me ordered 2 seasonal drinks that came with whil cream and drizzled and I ordered the cookie one with whip cream and sprinkles. Lady infront of me didn't get any toppings and when I asked him about mine which was an iced beverage he put the saddest amount of whip cream. It's a dome lid sir please don't put one small swirl of whip cream. I want it like the picture, so I asked for more whip cream and turns out the can he had was empty so he probably just didn't want to get more for the beverages because he then ran to the back to get a new can and then told me how they are cautious with putting whip cream on beverages with an alternative milk...
First off I heard the lady tell him I said yes to whip cream
Second the can was empty so you prob were being lazy
Third the family in front of me didn't order alternative milks and you jipped them on their toppings so I don't want to hear it.
Didn't have time to talk to him about it though so just thanked him for putting more whip cream...
Read moreBlue Collar Coffee Co. is hands down one of my favorite places in Beloit. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is cozy, welcoming, and thoughtfully curated. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down, sip your coffee, and stay awhile. The interior is beautiful, with plenty of seating and a layout that works just as well for catching up with a friend as it does for knocking out a few hours of work. I often bring my laptop here to get things done, and I love that they offer free Wi-Fi. It’s a perfect work-from-café spot that feels both relaxing and productive.
The coffee is consistently amazing. I’ve tried several drinks and have never been disappointed. Their seasonal flavors are always fun, and the baristas are friendly, efficient, and know how to make a solid cup. One of my favorite things about this place is the community board where you can “leave a coffee” for someone else. It’s such a small but powerful gesture of kindness, and it really speaks to the heart of what makes Blue Collar Coffee so special.
If you’re in Beloit and looking for a coffee shop that has it all,...
Read moreenvironment is so cute and inviting, especially being right on the river. Have been here probably about 7-8 times now, and I always get the same thing, orange dreamsicle matcha w oat milk. the last 3 times i’ve watched them make it with whole milk and yesterday when I watched them I had my boyfriend go and ask them to fix it. i just hate being the one to be like “u made my drink wrong”. the foam also looked different, it was red for some reason and he said he just had put food coloring in the foam. why r u putting red 40 in cold foam? if not red 40 why strawberry? idk they haven’t made it like that the last 7 other times. but the guy was basically saying “no i made it right” and u know Im not gonna tell someone how to do their job, so I just went on amazon and got all the stuff to make it. also no gluten free options for pastries. if u do go i suggest going in the morning and hope that one of the girls makes it cuz the guys just...
