I have been coming to this Best Western for about two years now and I have to say that I have NEVER been disappointed. My partner travels for work and whenever he stays at this location, he is always happy and comfortable, which in turn makes me happy and comfortable. They know him well and always service his room, per his request. They know I am his lady and have always treated me kind and with much respect. The staff is very professional and flexible to the needs of the guest. ||The hotel is not loud at all, as most of the people staying here are either staying for work, or as a pit stop to catch some zzz’s before they hop back on the road. The surrounding community is made up of mostly family and retired households. So, there are some beautiful parks nearby, baseball fields, the marina is right down the road with a beautiful view of the bay. There are a few shopping centers nearby to get food, gas, groceries, etc. Even a few nails salons and local spa’s if you desire a little pampering. The hotel is next to the freeway but you do NOT hear the traffic. Bonus: there’s a 7/11 gas station right in front for a quick grab and gas. ||The quality of everything here is above average when compared to other locations in the brand. From the towels to the linen and pillows on the bed, the blackout shades for daytime sleepers, to the hot breakfast buffet served daily (love the bacon), the jet fountain for large water bottles, and even the thoughtfully planned parking spaces that surround the hotel so you can see your car from your room. Although, I’ve NEVER heard of anyone’s car being vandalized over my years here. Each room has a fridge and a microwave, mirrored closet doors 😝, and a powerful AC/Heating unti. ||All in all, this is one of Benicia’s BEST KEPT SECRETS! So, if you plan to stay here, be respectful and don’t mess it up for the rest of us lol. Besides, BOTH the FIRE & POLICE departments are right down the road and Benecia law enforcement DONT PLAY! That’s why it’s still a great area to live and visit, despite the condition of surrounding cities. ||Thank you the Best Western Staff for all that you do for your guests! It is truly appreciated and I hope you all get a nice raise in 2024!!! ||CC...
Read moreComfortable place to rest for a night. Reasonably close to 6 Flags I'm told. Property is clean and looks well maintained. Rooms are not massive but seem quiet. Bathrooms are tight but serviceable. Noise from the Highway can encroach but only the noisiest of vehicles are a problem. Breakfast is available. 3 floors...1 set of elevators. 2nd floor from the upper parking lot (main level) is easiest for those with limited mobility. Local eateries are listed on a pamphlet in the rooms. There was not a dirty cloths bag for use. The closet was spacious although it looks small from the exterior. Value was questionable. $250 a night seems a tad bit high. However there was no issues we could find with the room that were egregious. There are larger suites available with balconies. There is a pool and hot tub on the property. We did not make use of either although we observed patrons using them. There is a current person limit based on pandemic concern. Phone the front desk...
Read moreMy girl and I stayed for a couple of nights during my anniversary. The hotel met all of my expectations. upon arrival there was easily accessible self-parking near the front of the building where i wanted to park *(and all around if wanted). we came into the building, and the lady at the counter mel provided good customer service with the questions that I had. the room i got was a smoking room, so it smelled like cigarettes upon entry.. other than that it was smooooth. i liked that the room was clean upon entry, there was a sanitized comcast remote in a sealed bag, the bathroom, the sinks, the tub, the microwave, and the fridge was all sanitized before we arrived as well; and there was fresh bedding of course . upon checkout, the other lady at the front desk had good customer service as well and she was able to run my cards and (because we were ok, i could get back the deposit) and we checked out.
there's a 711, a fuel station, and a safeway +some restaurants within a...
