Cedarwood Inn — Hotel in Benton

I'm convinced this isn't a motel at all and that is just a front for something far more secretive . I finally got to stay here after 5 attempts 2 of which I called at least a week in advance and still told no vacancy , everytime I have contacted, they claim no vacancy yet there will be zero cars in the parking lot . The onetime I did get to stay here they told me no but after a little belly aching I got a room at 1:30 am the room was smaller than some closets but the ac and tv worked . The bedding looked questionable so I nodded out in the chair , staff and customer service was non-existent as well all the other guest that were supposedly here in this no-vacancy motel. Been staying here almost 1 year due to certain personal reasons now looking for a little house, BUT while being here for almost a year, we really like it. It's just my husband and I so that makes it easier living motel life. It's small, I believe only 15 or 16 rooms. But we like that, everyone knows everyone bc half of us are long term. The family that's runs the motel are absolutely lovely people. The gentleman that is the mateinence man is such a great guy as well. It's very inexpensive and very very simple. Look folks, The Hilton Garden Inn, this ain't. But any ol dummy oughta know that by the pictures! Sure it's had its share of better days, and some updating could bring this back 'round to a gem. No breakfast, no pool (but at this price, you won't swim in those!), no hair dryer or iron.
