To us, it was good and adequate but not great and amazing. I would stay here again, my wife said likely not. Here are the details, based on one stay of one night:|Older but well-maintained property, nice decor.|Room doors are outside, not inside ... some people don't like this; however, it means you can generally park right by your door. It could be a negative in bad weather.|Faint odor in room, but not nasty; I got used to it very quickly so didn't bother me at all. It may be partly due to the room door being on the outside, so smells and humidity can get in a bit.|Beds very comfy. Nice small table with 2 decently comfortable chairs in the room as well. TV worked well, good picture. Wi-fi seemed to work well.|Decently hot, but not super hot, water, with good water pressure.|The water from the faucet tasted good enough to drink; some places it does not. It was a bit hard, but not overly hard.|Room had enough lighting when all lamps were on.|The heater/AC unit was not loud; we had it on low fan speed all night, and worked really well to hide most of the highway noise, which then did not bother us. We slept pretty well!|No noise from rooms around or above us, but there might not have been people staying in those rooms, I don't know.|Breakfast was nice but not outstanding: scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy (but my wife was unimpressed by the gravy), pancake machine, 2 cereals, packets of instant outmeal, muffins, yogurt, apples and oranges, fruit juices (the orange juice was good but a little bit weak). Coffee was decent. For putting on things, salt and pepper, hot sauce, peanut butter, part-veg-oil spread. Hot water for tea but only basic black tea -- reg and decaf.|Very minor issues with room: flickering light over sink, toilet ran at times, tub drained a bit slowly. All else was clean and worked fine.|Staff was nice, no problems there. Location was good though some highway noise though as noted, can be mostly drawned out by fan. Many restaurants and stores pretty close.|Hope...
Read moreI had a positive feeling about staying in Best Western hotels and specifically the one in Benton, AR if I were to come back and visit the town in the future until I went to the front desk to checkout. The receptionist seemed to be having a personal phone call and did not end it when I walked up to her. She asked me what I wanted. I told her I wanted to checkout, told her my room number, and gave her my room key cards. She printed my room bill statement, handed it to me, and acted as if that was going to be the end of me interrupting her important personal phone call. I began to tell her I had a problem with not being able to watch TV last night. She told the person on the other end of the phone to hold on a second, while I finished describing my problem to her. She did not seem attentive or care though. Luckily, I was thoughtful enough to write the following as my problem to not being able to watch TV on a piece of paper and handed it to her. Receptionist should give guests his/her undivided attention, especially when there is a problem. Hopefully people who will stay in the room I did will get all their money’s worth and be able to watch TV. Problem with Watching Television • Check Receiver Cables and make sure they are secure • Reset SWiM Adaptor if you have one • Contact Us: Select troubleshoot for details • Channels were unavailable • Help option and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) were not helpful • Time and Date in upper right hand corner are wrong (definitely realized something was wrong when I saw this) o Time is an hour ahead of current time o Date is 1/2 (actual...
Read moreThis hotel looks nice, but the outdoor area where they keep doggie bags is littered with joints and cigarettes. My dog and I were there to compete in the Little Rock show and she must've licked up a joint off the ground. We weren't even outside that long. She suffered THC poisoning and had to be taken to emergency services. The vet bill was almost 700 and the manager was rude, owner wouldn't talk to me, and I don't know who to complain to, but I took videos of her high, the ground, and recorded my conversation with the manager. I even videoed one of their workers smoking in the exact area where my dog and I were before she got sick. What's worse and most insulting is that I wasn't even aggressive, as can be heard in the conversation, but the manager insisted that i couldnt prove it was there where she got sick. Actually, the vet and my other friends showing and staying there can confirm the timeframe, and it WAS the Benton Inn. Their negligence with their grounds almost killed my young dog. This hotel might say pet friendly, but it isn't. Let them go in the room before you risk taking them outside...
