DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Naples — Hotel in Bonita Springs

Kudos to the owner of this Doubletree! Beautifully renovated, fabulous employees from the night shift to the morning shift and thoughtfully upgraded. Possibly it’s because I just got off a three week cruise down the Amazon river in Brazil. But we booked this in advance, and I couldn’t be more pleased, it’s a great location in Naples. It’s not downtown. It’s on the north end but there’s so many things right around here. For the first time in a long time I feel participating in the Hilton loyalty program worked in my favor! I was upgraded to a room with a living room, bedroom and bathroom all separately! Extremely clean, beautiful upgrades, not cheap ones regarding the flooring and artwork. The pool area is terrific, usually a pool area is just an add-on, but they’ve created an entire ambience with the café Portofino, which is indoor outdoor on the pool, food service and drink service. Towels, pool everything is really nice. Super big bonus, huge TVs in the family room and in the bedroom! Ample parking for large and small vehicles in the loyalty Hilton parking spots. They’ve got five or six and that’s always appreciated right out in front. Just checked out the breakfast, opportunity and selection and it’s fabulous with a really ample nice restaurant area. So lots of people last night enjoying the complementary happy hour as well Great Christmas decorations throughout the hotel and when they renovated, they actually renovated the elevator which hardly ever is done! Came here for 1 night to celebrate boyfriends birthday. Specifically booked a large room with a whirlpool tub (because whirlpool tubs are his favorite) we turned on the hot water only to find that it doesn't work in the tub. Contacted the front desk. Staff member stated they were aware it didn't work, but the cold water does. ??? Who's going to sit in a tub full of cold water? We were also told "the shower hot water works" . We asked about alternative rooms. Apparently this room is the largest they offer in the entire hotel. Asked if we relocated to a lesser room would we be given a discount and we were advised no, because we used our Hilton Rewards points to reduce the Nightly rate that we paid. Way to value your Hilton Honors members. Also recommend maybe giving out a sheet with all of the on site eateries/bar hours of operation instead of the receptionist having to spout off when they close tonight and tomorrow, which nobody is...

We stayed in a lot of hotels in Florida over the last 18 years. This place is the Best one I've ever stayed at. Most of them were good but this place tops them all. I'll start with the staff/front desk/ waiter,waitresses. Amazing and super friendly. Breakfast was very reasonable and delicious. Coffee excellent. Rooms and maid service were Excellent. Location is Amazing. Less than 15 min to several beaches/ restaurants. Only 45 minutes to Sanibel island. Last time we stayed at Naples resort and spa. It was very nice. However the stay at double tree was better. The layout of the property is very easy to navigate. When we go back we'll be at double tree. Everyone who works there deserves a raise. They offer beach chairs,towels and umbrella. The only slight I have is the beach chairs and beach umbrellas could be upgraded to Tommy Bahama would be great. Thanks for a great...
