Jannah Country Chase: With reference to these people I'd like to explain. I too was dinning at Passage to India when this disgraceful incident unfolded. I was sitting just a few tables away. It appeared to be an Indian family, very similar to the culture of the owners I'm guessing. There appeared to be a dispute between a male customer and the young polite waitress. All of a sudden I heard the gentleman raise his voice and tell the young waitress some racist derogatory comment about being from Mexico?? I was stunned!!! I looked over at their plates on their table, food gone! nothing left in sight. They'd been eating like they were going to the electric chair later that evening. So, i thought it can't be the food surely? The young lady retreated to the kitchen area. The Chef came out and asked the gentleman as to why he thought is was appropriate to insult this young lady and his wait staff. I am amazed to think that a very similar culture would visit a restaurant of such and then proceed to misbehave and embarrass themselves. I have no idea what compels anybody to visit a restaurant and feel it ok to insult the staff members??? They were an embarrassment to the fabulous...

Passage To India is by far one of the best restaurants in Southwest Florida, owned by native Indians who were born and raised in India. It is family owned and they are wonderful, sweet people who will do just about anything for their customers.
Our family travels from Fort Myers Beach to Naples, just to eat there. Yes, it is a bit pricey so it wouldn't be your every-day family restaurant. But their food is well worth the money and the gas to get there, especially for special occasions. The ambiance is nice if you're looking for a date location.
Don't just take my advice, take at least 5 different friends of mine. It is a well-known and well-loved restaurant. They switched locations to fit into a bigger building because their food was so good, more people were accumulating.
One of our favorite dishes is the Lamb Tikka Masala. Get it mild or HOT!!!!! This is a real review that...

It was flaky & buttery, so a bit more flavorful than plain nan. We had soup, the Shabji soup, which was surprisingly bland. Lots of vegetables in a thin tomato broth, but quite underwhelming. Then we tried the mixed appetizer. It was a step down from fried bar food. The chicken was dry and flavorless. The onion bajhi tasted like limp, thin, unseasoned onion rings. At least there was some consistency..the other veggie items included were just fried & tasteless as well. I had a mango mojito, which I'm pretty sure was just mango juice, with a slight hint of the container it been sitting in..an odd after taste. With so many amazing spices available, we were looking for impressive memorable food..unfortunately it was memorable but not in the way that we had hoped. The server was nice & checked on us regularly, which was a...
