Chelsea at Surroundings is amazing! We purchased a new sectional that had an issue come up months after we purchased it (manufacturer issue). I called the store to see what we could do thinking they would say it was our problem, but Chelsea took it upon herself to make things better. She called to coordinate with us and even followed up when she didn’t hear from us. She had a new piece delivered at our convenience and she called to see how the new product was along with the service of delivery (which was awesome, too).    Read moreBeware of the way this store does business!!! I bought an aqua painting that was painted aqua in 3 sides and black on one side. The way it was hung in the store, the black side was not visible. When I went to hang it in our bathroom the only side that was visible was a black side with weird spots on it. Alex refused to even give an in store credit and was very rude. He said it was my responsibility to identify the flaws even though it was hidden the way it was displayed in the store. The saddest part to me is that this is a store that has some really unique pieces. Unfortunately, honesty and integrity are not values of this store owner....

When you bring in your precious goods for Surroundings to sell on your behalf, just know that if a customer breaks it, or someone walks off with it (we'll never know because they don't provide proof that your beloved item was really broken and not stolen), they don't let you know of this and they care NOT to compensate you in any way. No future credit towards a purchase in their store, NOTHING! I do not recommend Surrounds. They are way overpriced and the management couldn't care less about you. Shop at another consignment.
