I stayed at the hotel via complimentary stay 5/23/25-5/25/25. I was in a non smoking room. Room 1126. During the morning of 5/25 my smoke detector went off. It woke me up, I checked around the outside of my room and saw no evacuation so went back to sleep. When I woke up later I found my bank messaging me saying Live took $250.00 from my checking account. I thought maybe my deposit got doubled charged and inquired about it while checking out. I am told I was smoking at 7:16AM and that they had took what my bank had allowed of the $500 fee for smoking in non smoking and that I needed to pay the rest or I may not be allowed future stay. I offered to take the woman at the desk saying this to the room and look and see for herself. She merely said it is not policy. I do not smoke, anything. My work does random screenings so I do not partake in any way of any drug either. I was told to contact an e-mail link and use the supplied reference to request "chemist and engineers" to see and verify if smoking was really happening or that it could just be a fault in the detector. I sent that email at 11:12A. At 11:15A, 3 minutes later, I received an email that it was confirmed there was smoking done. I say again. I DO NOT SMOKE. There is no way anyone made it up to my room to look it over. I truly feel scammed by your casino, especially after having won a hand pay on Friday night. It does not help I see reviews, google, and reddit posts about similar instances having happen to other Live patrons. I was politely called a liar, had money taken away from me with no investigative follow through, and the "investigation" done was nothing more than fodder. It's not "policy" to inspect the room immediately when a detector goes off? Or when a potential problem could occur and the patron ask to come confirm that nothing took place in the room your policy is to just say no and call the person a liar? I will not be staying there again. I probably won't come back period. Such a nice place to be pulling scams like that when the house always wins anyways is a complete shame. ALSO, I received an e-mail from the Hotel Manager when I went on to their site to launch a complaint and try to get the charge removed: "Thank you very much for your inquiry. We understand your concerns and apologize for any inconvenience caused; however, based on the report we received from your room, around 7:11am smoking took place in the room, which triggered an alert at 7:16am. Our smoke detection software does not make any noise when smoking is detected. it simply sends an email to the front desk staff. The software uses molecular-based sensors which only detect combustible tobacco and marijuana. While the system does not specify to us which substance was used, the evidence submitted is sufficient for us to place a charge on your room. You are welcome to request a secondary review from the Fresh Air Sensor LLC or dispute the charge with your bank. Unfortunately, we won't be able to adjust the charge off on our end. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to contact me. I am also adding a link to the vendor's website in case you would like to find out more information about the smoke-detection technology we utilize."

I informed my bank to not let that charge go through and block them from trying. It's truly funny that they can take money off my account but have no power to adjust back. They can take but not give back. Either Live is blindly trusting of their sensor and will stick by with it because they have "court precedent" in it's results or they use this to scam and bully patrons out of their money. Thieves. I definitely will not be going back there again. This is my first review online, EVER, my experience in this has been so bad that I had to post. Being politely called a liar over and over...

My fiancé and I booked this location for his birthday. Upon arrival the location appeared very nice. There was suitable parking and valet readily available. The pool was under construction so even though the weather was appropriate, we did not have access to it. Service at the front desk was very friendly. I want to give props to TaQwanda. Her service was great. She went above and beyond to show us around and explain the in's and out's about the location. The rooms were very nice and clean. The beds were the best part about the trip. For the first time I wanted to actually stay in bed on a vacation. Now to the bad. The casino was TRASH! the casino food was TRASH! The service inside of the casino was TRASH! We went in March and I intentionally waited for the April to come to do this review to see if I was going to receive my $50 credit I was assigned. I have yet to hear back form the food services manager. We ate at Ridotto two nights in a row. Saturday night dining was an okay experience. The waiter that we were assigned seemed to be overworked. He was sweating running back and forward from the tables and did his best to serve us all. This is probably why he forgot to add the $50 credit to our bill. The second night we went 20 minutes before closing and were told that we could not be seated because they were closing soon. So, we ordered our food togo. We ordered a pizza and a celebratory cheesecake for my honey bday. While waiting for the pizza the chef brought a ticket back up to the front and said a word or to the cashier. Shortly after while walking off the chef said "well you come make it your self!" and walked off. After observing and piecing together the issue, we heard a loud bang from the kitchen and the chef yell "FU**!" We looked at each other and said we hope that wasn't our pizza. As we waited for about 35 minutes for our pizza, our pizza originally was given to someone else who discovered that it wasn't their order. The pizza was given to us and as we opened it, we saw that one side of the pizza was burned and the middle was not fully cooked. We were very disappointed and since they were closed we couldn't have them fix our order so we left and ate only the crust of the good side of the pizza. We also ate inside of the casino at the bar and the fries were horrible. It tasted like they microwave the fries. The boneless wings were okay. The drinks were awesome though. We also wanted to sit in a booth but they told us that they could not sit us there because we did not have enough people. There was barely anyone in the bar and no-one had came either while we were there. So, we could have been seated there especially since the only other option were high bar stool style chairs. The food was overpriced as well at both locations. The line to get into the casino was long as I don't know what Saturday night. This facility should consider another way to move the line quicker especially for those who are paying to stay at the location. We decided not to go to the casino that night for that reason which isn't a good thing because that's where we wanted to bring his birthday in at. My fiancé has always walked away with money at the casino but not at this one. He played parlays through the app and won but did not win anything at the actual casino. To say the less, we will never return to this location. We would have been better off at Boomtown that was right around the corner from this location or even took a weekend trip to Vegas. We wanted to give this location a try because it was a new facility. WE came, WE saw but WE did not conquer. LIVE! Casino still owe us...

Update July, 2025:

I've stayed here twice since my initial review and other than a rather unfortunate experience in the Asian restaurant and the computers crashing at check-in, everything has been simply amazing at this property. The customer service (outside the Asian restaurant) has been exceptional. The promotions have been frequent and generous. The food has been good, the drinks, even better. The Asian restaurant situation was resolved quickly and to my satisfaction. I'll have to look up the name of the manager who helped out because she spent the entirety of the rest of our stay making sure we was happy. Even though I've experienced nothing but losses in the casino so far, this is gonna be my regular go-to for the area going forward. (Losses -- That's why they call it gambling)

Original review: I was staying at a different property and took a ride over to Live to check it out.

I'm generally a pretty low roller. I like my casinos cheap, dark, and with a hint of personal danger.

So when I saw that the company that runs this super high end sports bar that sells tickets for admission next to the Cowboys stadium in Arlington, I figured it would be an aggressive cash grab with forty dollar popcorn and reserved seating at the slot machines for a fee.

I was wrong.

First, the casino is absolutely beautiful. Every other property in Bossier/Shreveport just got put on serious notice. The decorations, lighting, seating, sportbooks (especially the sportsbook) are orders of magnitude superior to every other casino.

Here's the part that surprised me -- I expected the poker machines at the bar to be dollar denomination. Nope. Quarters with a very respectable 9/5 paytable on DDB. And get this -- they have sixteen ounce craft beers on tap available for players! All other area casinos will throw a Miller or Coors at you, make you feel guilty about it, and get surly with you if you ask for a second.

Not here, friends. The bartender was taking me on a tour of taps, and thank goodness I have uber and lyft on my phone, because I reached a point where I had to refuse the hospitality and get back to my room. The bartender was over the top friendly, like she made me believe she was happy to see me. I've had some experiences in other properties where I felt I should apologize for forcing them off their phones for the time it takes to grab a bottle and open it.

Otherwise, even the executive employees in the high limit room and sportsbook were as personable and welcoming as any casino I've ever visited, and friends, that's a LOT of casinos in a LOT of states, and even a few countries.

I did forget to ask if they tier match when I got a players' card. I'd like to explore the hotel portion here, but not at their listed rack rates. I'm still too cheap for that...
