Antiques Shoppes At 1100 Barksdale — Local services in Bossier City

I’ve been visiting this antique mall with my grandmothers since I was a kid, it’s always been a place I’ve enjoyed browsing through. But during my last visit, I was harshly accused of stealing by an employee of the store in front of other customers. I hadn’t taken anything, and no apology was ever given after I made it clear I hadn’t done anything wrong. The security footage shown clearly displayed me simply looking at a red rooster and placing it back on the shelf. Sadly this was my first time at this store and probably my last. Upon entering my mom and I were never greeted and barely acknowledged. Two of the workers sitting down looked us up and down and continued their conversation. The store is nice but I’m not willing to give my money to people who have no customer service skills and can’t acknowledge me. Even on our way out, they still never acknowledged us and continued their conversation. It seems like a great store that I would love to shop at but their worker’s attitudes are just unacceptable. Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience at this antique store. The staff was incredibly rude and unwelcoming, treating us with suspicion and disrespect from the moment we walked in. As a paying customer looking to support local businesses, I was shocked by the way we were spoken to and made to feel. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this store to anyone who values being treated with basic courtesy and respect. There are far better antique shops in the area that actually appreciate...
