I'm a year late on this review, but I give it 5 stars because 4 is way too low. Realistically this was a 4.5 for me. I had the loaded up Pepperjax Mac. Great flavor, and a pretty decent price for what you get just not a very large portion and I'm a hungry guy especially after being in planes and airports all day. It was good enough and at a reasonable enough price that I went ahead and ordered a second to fill myself up. I do recommend it, but if you have a large appetite, just know you'll probably still be hungry on a single serving. Also of note, when they ask you if you want bread, you do get charged for it which was a surprise for me when the bill came as I did not see that noted on the menu. Not that it was expensive, but most places do not charge when offering side bread so it was a bit of an "oh, ok" moment. Seating was difficult which speaks to how popular this place is. Thankfully there was a spot outside, which no one was utilizing as it was a chilly night by Louisiana springtime standards, but it was substantially warmer than when I left Minnesota the day before. All in all, I recommend this place and wil definitely swing through again to sample some other items next time in the Shreveport area.

Best Cajun anywhere...including New Orleans! Born as a popular food truck in 2015 a couple of Louisiana bred friends of over 15 years, took their catering company on wheels, to a full scale dine in Grill & Bar in the heart of Bossier City's East Bank District. Open just 2 months ago from this review, this former New Orleans resident has never had better. Every dish spot on, full flavor without the over powering heat some places feel they need to add to make it authentic Cajun / Creole cusine. We started with a classic red beans & rice, and also shared the AMAZING... MUST HAVE Crawfish PepperJax Mac N Cheese. Be sure to load it with The Works! I was never much of a "Blackened" fan...these guys made me a believer. The Blackened Shrimp or Catfish PoBoys are not to be missed. I could go on forever about all the food but suffice it to say you need to get here and work your way through the menu yourself. The staff and service was excellent and the Matthew the Manager was on top of his game. Beaux Jax will be in the top 10 in no time at all!

This place is awesome! I love the condiment bar! The little firecrackers are delish and probably the best spicy pickles I’ve ever had in my life… this is a HUGE compliment because I consume an embarrassing amount of pickles… it’s basically a core food group for me. I’m really sad that I didn’t ask them what brand they were because I would order them by the 5 gallon bucket. The atmosphere was awesome! 👏🏻 One of the only things we found in Shreveport that the kids actually enjoyed! There was live music on the back patio, with an extremely professional set, a with an extremely professional set up! Stage, Lights, great sound! Everyone was smiling and having fun. Our service was impeccable! Just Fantastic service! The hurricanes were ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The food was well seasoned, well prepared, well presented! I have never had Boudin served with club crackers, and I don’t think I will ever eat it another way ever again. These guys really know what they’re doing! Don’t skip this place. And the king cake cheesecake was 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥 🍰 🤤

We started off with the Boudin and Crackers Tray and shared an order of Crawfish Pepperjax Mac. Both were good and pretty much what you'd expect from both. My partner ordered the Blackened Shrimp and Grits and I got the Half & Half Combo, Gator Andouille Poboy & Etoufee. Her palate doesn't tolerate spicy very well, so we ended up trading dishes. I don't normally like grits (it's a texture thing) but I enjoyed the dish. Most things we had leaned a little too spicy for her, but she really enjoyed the poboy which had the "right amount" of spice for her. Atmosphere was fun, the server and service was very prompt and friendly. I would have expected some of the portions to be a little bigger than they were, but since this was our first time sitting down to eat there, we did order some extra to try some different things, so we definitely didn't leave hungry. Everything we had tasted amazing and highly recommend.

Love it here! Uniquely designed and carefully restored historical building that serves the best of Louisiana's flavorful delights! The atmosphere is always fun and friendly. The design of the interior and exterior looks to be carefully thought out. Walking around the building and into the front your senses are aroused by an early 1900's feel! Once inside there's massive wood beams and rough brick structures that shows the age and beauty of this great historical building! This gem is located in the historical but new and revised East Bank District of Bossier City Louisiana. It is a must to visit this destination and while your there check out all the other amazing places within walking distance. To name some, Retro 521, Flying heart Brewery, L'italiano, Destiny Day Spa. BeauxJax Crafthouse is an amazing place and I highly recommend it!

I went to this place to get crawfish because my sister said that was the best crawfish she ever ate. Unfortunately, we were a day late, and the season ended. So, I ended up trying the loaded mac & cheese with the works to go. I ate half of it before I left the restaurant because it was so good. My sister got the New Orleans steak sandwich poboy and split it with me. It was really good, too. It came with a side, and we got the dirty rice covered with gumbo gravy per the suggestion of the waitress. It was good, but entirely too salty, so we didn't finish it. The other food was so good that I won't even hold that against them because that mac and cheese was fire, and I'm still giving 5 stars. I don't remember my server's name, but she was awesome as well. I have to visit this place again soon. I forgot to take a pic of the poboy.
