I Never Make Negative Reviews On My Hotel Stays Because I Never Ever had a problem Till I Came Here, I Traveled here from Texas! After Spending Over $3,000 for a Month Stay, Due to waiting on my new Apartment to be ready for move in,
I Was Treated Horribly During & At The Time Of Check Out, I never caused any problems to be treated the way I did. I was always extremely friendly. But I see being nice doesn't get you nowhere nowadays.
I Spent 1,750 for 25 Days, Pretty okay price. After being There 25 Days, My apartment wasn't ready yet, so I had to extend my stay another 8 days. But I found out After I extended my stay at the front desk, On the website it was $405 for 8 days...but I Ended up going to front desk to extend my stay and The Owner Charged me $815 for 8 days! I felt so scammed of my money but he was happy of course and I didn't make it an issue at all. I accepted it with peace.
After the 8 days, my Apartment still wasn't ready so I ended up extending my stay online instead this time for a extra 5 day stay. so I went to front desk about it that morning and he was upset that I booked it online because he says it doesn't pay him He gave me a hard time, and a nasty attitude, saying he couldn't find my new reservation for some reason so I had to show him on my phone multiple times I already paid and did everything online. So He ended up taking my previous deposit of $60 because i technically checked in early at 10am and I wasn't informed he did that, until the day I actually left, and he charged me for another $50 deposit.
As Of 04/02/2025 There Was A Tornado Warning that was in effect & It Was Raining Extremely Hard Outside Me And Bf and our 1 Year Old Babygirl Was threatened & kicked Out of the lobby Into The Rain Due To us waiting In The Lobby For 4 Hours After Check out, Mind you....we was waiting On My Ride to show up! it wasn't our fault! We wasn't causing anything problems we was quiet sitting down be respectful My Ride Was Extremely Late Due To Weather Complications. Obviously, but I can't believe The Owner That Checked Me In Treated Me so Nicely At First, But My Welcome Ran Out Due To Me Not Paying him Anymore Service,
Owner Started yelling at me out of nowhere in front of my boyfriend and baby and he Accused Me Of Using Him Just Because I Was Waiting In The Lobby For My Ride. Mind You it was raining!! I had no choice but to wait for my ride!! He Also Told Me that He will not give me my deposit back unless I leave the building, I can't believe how he treated me.
He Called Me Names And Was Yelling At Me For No Reason. My boyfriend tried to ask him what is going on & why is yelling at me and the owner straight up said I will call police on you! Just by asking a question?! I Was in Complete Shock That He Would Be Extremely Rude To Me After I Spent So Much Money And Being extremely friendly to him everyday of my stay. ALSO I Haven't Mentioned That Housekeeping Bangs so hard On The Doors, Tries To Open The Doors Even After Refusal. I had to continuously get my key card fixed due to house keeping using their key to open my door without permission while we was trying to sleep, mind you, we have a baby this was extremely unsafe! I couldn't get a full sleep because of this. This Hotel Was Extremely Nasty With cigarette burns on blankets. Infested with Roaches. Filthy carpet. Broken fridge. Dirty Microwave. Vending machine takes extra money when using card. The list goes on. This place is very ran down.
This Hotel is Family Owned by Indians. They Are Very VERY Rude To Outsiders. Especially Black People. I've witnessed the owner being extremely rude to others as well for no reason. They are Extremely Money Hungry!!
I Do Not Recommend This Hotel !!! I repeat.....I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!!
Us People deserve to be treated...

The beds were comfortable, shower water only got lukewarm at best. Staff was decent checking in. It would have been adequate, except for 1 huge problem. We left a blanket in the room. A queen size comforter that was gray on one side and maroom on the other. Our daughter's favorite blanket. After we got home, and realized it had been left I called the hotel and asked if they could mail it to us. The desk agent said they could if we mailed a prepaid label for them. Before we could, we scheduled another trip that would take us by the hotel. Called the hotel and they said they would hold the blanket (Super 8 policy states they must hold property for 30 days, this was 3 weeks after our original trip). I called 3 days before the trip. Blanket was there and would be held. Stop at hotel and am presented with a small fleece blanket that is yellow, pink and black. Front desk tells my husband that's his blanket. He says, no it's not. They let him back to their storage room. No blanket. I go in. The agent tries to give me the other blanket and says that's the blanket in my room, take my blanket and go. I say I've never seen that blanlet before, if it was mine, why wouldn't I take it? He says, some people just like causing problems. I say I used to work at Super 8 and disposing of my blanket is against policy. He says, yeah I know you, you work at the one down the street. I say I've never worked in St Louis, I live in Indianapolis. He says, you lie, you work there, your blanket was never here, you just want to cause problems, file complaint if you don't like it. The whole encounter was terrible. He was snotty, rude and smirked the whole time, treating the situation like a joke. His customer service and demeanor was appalling. Also, be prepared to be asked for money on your way in by people hanging around outside...
Read moreCruel, Disrespectful Treatment of a Homeless Veteran I am beyond outraged by how my brother was treated by Super 8 staff. He is a veteran who is currently experiencing homelessness and struggles with mental illness. During a dangerous heat advisory, I sent him money so he could find safety off the streets. He used it to book a room through Expedia at Super 8, arriving around 7:00 AM, only to be told he would have to wait until 3:00 PM to check in.
He patiently waited in the lobby for eight hours. After all that, the front desk suddenly informed him of a $60 deposit—an extra charge that was not disclosed during booking. When he reasonably questioned the surprise fee, they refused to let him check in. Then, they had the nerve to kick him out and later refuse a refund, claiming he had used hotel services by sitting in the lobby and eating a small breakfast while waiting for the room he had already paid for.
So let me get this straight: a mentally ill veteran, trying to escape extreme heat, waits all day, is denied a room because he asked about a hidden fee, is forced to leave, and then is charged anyway because he was desperate enough to sit in your lobby and eat a granola bar?
This isn’t just bad service. It’s inhumane. It’s predatory. And it’s cruel.
To the Super 8 staff: you disrespected a veteran, failed to show even basic compassion, and took advantage of someone in crisis. To Expedia: your failure to disclose this hidden fee and your lack of support afterward is disgraceful.
If you care about people—especially those who have served this country—do not give this place your business. Super 8 should be...
