Quiet Corner Inn — Hotel in Brooklyn

First, Manny needs to open up a chain accross the country because I would always stay with him. I was on a work trip and went a little out of my way to stay here because of the reviews and I'm glad I did. Room was in excellent condition, Covid clean, the best water pressure ever (I took 2 showers in 1 day haha), bed was great and I slept good and the amenities like AC, TV , micro and fridge were all perfect too. Manny's attitude and welcoming gestures are what makes these small motels so great. They want your business as well as your satisfaction. Its not about money with people like Manny it's about pride in their work and he has done a great job! I stayed at a "Mid Class Hotel" the 2nd day of my trip and paid double with a lot less extras and yet wished I had just stayed with Manny. Next trip I will. Now on a side note and not at all Mannys fault but if you are light sleeper you may want to ask for right side room as the traffic in this small town is loud and for some odd reason all night long but again this is the best place to relax in this corner of CT. We stayed here one night for a SAT test the next day. Before booking, we googled online reviews of nearby hotels and found issues one way or the other. We just wanted a clean and quiet place to stay before the test, which led us to this Quiet Corner Inn. I left a note during my booking, explaining that we need a quiet place for my kid to have a good night sleep before the test tomorrow. We booked a One King Bed Nonsmoking. To our surprise, after we checked in, we found the owner gave us a Two Queen Beds Nonsmoking without extra charge. The room was located in the back corner - very quiet and peaceful. I am here now (sept 5th 2024), and it exceeds expectations. this places is lovely! this is not some run down motel 6. it is indeed quiet here, and quite lovely. so much attention to detail! fresh blooms & landscaping, a nice little chair outside to enjoy a cool evening, and the room is clean as a whistle. my room included a small fridge and microwave (all quite clean and working). the bedding is clean, soft, and comfy. the AC works as it should with minimal noise, shower is clean, towels soft and fluffy. i wouldnt normally walk around a hotel room barefoot but here i am and i dont feel creeped out by it. i am visiting family who moved up here and if this places continues as it is, i will be staying here every time i come to visit. thank...
