Sweet Peas Fine Foods — Restaurant in Brooklyn

I usually love this place, however, the last few times I’ve been in there I left with prepared dinners or, as in the case of yesterday, they were premade food from their deli area. That said, my cucumber, tomato salad ,and tortellini salads were so mushy. It was ridiculous. The fried chicken, I was so excited for, brought it home, put it in the oven, and when I took it out, it was not crispy it was soggy. And it had freezer burnt taste. The twice baked potato was OK. None of what I ordered yesterday was worth the price I paid almost $40 for five items. And the only thing I was satisfied with out of the four items was the seven layer cookies that I bought. It’s really unfortunate because I love the atmosphere. The employees are always nice but I feel like the food is terrible and overpriced so I finally needed to speak out about it. We have had great experiences in the past however recently there was an incident in which a male employee was extremely rude over the phone. We have not returned since. Very disappointing, as we have spent thousands and had many great meals, used Sweet Peas as a catering service for family events and was our go to for buying in bulk for expecting friends and family.

Our family is currently expecting and was planning to stock up, but after the interaction I think we will stick to the grocery store.

Sweet Pea Fine Foods is an absolute gem! This charming store offers an impressive array of fresh foods, prepared sandwiches, salads, dinners, and mouthwatering desserts. The layout is both cute and thoughtfully designed, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to explore every corner.

During our visit, we sampled a variety of their offerings, including the chicken Caesar salad panini, which was perfectly toasted and bursting with flavor. But the highlight was undoubtedly the chocolate peanut butter pie – it was simply out of this world! Every bite was a delightful blend of rich chocolate and creamy peanut butter, a true indulgence.
