Corner Cottage has recently undergone a change in management, resulting in notable enhancements that merit recognition. One significant improvement is the introduction of labels on the burritos, which has alleviated the previous challenge of identifying ownership. This simple yet effective solution demonstrates a keen understanding of customer needs and enhances the overall dining experience. In addition to this improvement, the establishment continues to excel in its culinary offerings. The breakfast burritos, burgers, sandwiches, fries, and other delectable items are consistently prepared to a high standard, with particular emphasis on flavor and quality. The signature chopped salsa, renowned for its exceptional taste, remains a standout feature of the menu, contributing to the overall satisfaction of patrons. During my recent visit, I sampled the sausage and bacon combination as well as the steak and bacon burrito with extra salsa. The innovative combination of meats is a testament to the culinary creativity at Corner Cottage, and I encourage all patrons to explore these options. It is imperative to acknowledge and commend the team for their unwavering commitment to providing the finest breakfast burritos available. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a superior...
Read moreI decided to try Corner Cottage based solely on the raving reviews of their breakfast burrito. Being an aficionado of breakfast burritos, I just had to test these claims! Well, I left mostly satisfied, but I can't say it was the best breakfast burrito I've had.
For one thing, the burrito absolutely needs a sauce. The hot salsa they provide is a fantastic complement, but one little thingie of it is not nearly enough. Get two, at least.
Secondly, there's just too much potato. Potato in a breakfast burrito?! Yes! And it's really good! But it feels like they are using it as a cheap filler since there's so much of it compared to the other ingredients. Definitely don't come here if you are avoiding carbs. The dry potato also contributes to that earlier point of needing a sauce.
That said, I still give the sausage breakfast burrito high marks. It's not nearly the best I've had, but it is quite satisfying. And the flavor (probably the most important part) is excellent. I would definitely not wait again for an hour on a weekend to get one, but I'd be happy to hit it up on a less busy weekday...

I recently visited Corner Cottage for breakfast burritos. While the burritos were great (a bit small for the price), the real issue was the horchata. I ordered two, and both tasted off—like chemicals or spoiled milk. I tried calling back to request a refund and was instead told to call the drink supplier oddly enough. I did, and to their credit, the woman I spoke to was shocked and said she would send someone to inspect the machine.
When I called the restaurant back to follow up, they flat-out refused a refund because I didn’t physically bring the drinks back (as if I was going to save and transport sour horchata just to prove a point). That’s not how you treat customers—especially when you’re serving potentially expired products.
Between the poor customer service and the health risk, I’m done with this place. I don’t care if they have the best breakfast burritos in town supposedly, that’s not how you treat customers. I spent $40 on two tiny burritos and horrible tasting Horchatas. Just wanted to let the...
