Let me start by saying I am a Hilton member and decided to stay here because it’s a good hotel and I have stayed several times at the Hamptons. I am giving the hotel a 1 because of staff. I had been driving for 8hrs and still have more driving to do heading to Colorado for family vacation. I drove an additional hr away from where I was because everything was booked. I called in advance and spoke to the guy who I will attach a photo here shortly. He told me he had several rooms available so I made the additional hr to the hotel. When I arrived it was empty and it was 1am. I called 0 as the note stated at the front desk. The guy stated he was in the restroom and would be 20min? What you do for 20min in the restroom I wouldn’t know. I waited in front and more people began to pour in. So he finally comes out doesn’t greet me or act like I’m there and begins to take people behind me? I asked him politely the first time and he said it would only take a min first people to get cards and I said I have been waiting??! He then begins to take more people behind me and more and I said what is going on? He acted like I wasn’t there and said I should manage my time??! I then asked for a room and he walked to the back and didn’t acknowledge me. I was furious! I filmed him he threatened me with an officer? I said fine bring one I have done nothing wrong?? Cursed at me! Called me an axx and told me to eat shix!! took everything out of me not to confront him further! I called the manager no help there! I have video and witnesses and he should be fired immediately. I need to bring awareness. He is a tyrant and a bully and should be treated as one! I will be contacting corporate in...
Read moreDon't think that we would stay here again. ● 8am had to ask for coffee and breakfast food to be made, even though breakfast started being served at 6am. Kitchen staff member was very annoyed that we asked for items to be filled. And began banging things in the kitchen. ● We then watched this same person pick strands of her hair out of the eggs and gravy, throw it on the floor, yet still served the food ● Said employee ignored doing her job because she was too busy feeding her family free food and watching them run around the lobby/dining area. ●Walls in room are paper thin. We heard EVERYTHING! ●Televisions in room turned on but no channels worked. Took them 3 days to fix it because "no one relayed the manager the message". It was all rooms, not just ours. We did end up with some working channels, but not all, for the last night of our stay. ●Bottles in the shower for shampoo, conditioner, body wash were not all filled with products. ● Housekeeping did not come. And, no we didn't have the do not disturb sign on our door. We had to go to front desk for towels, toilet paper, and tissues. They basically told us we were lying and must have had a do not disturb sign on the door...which wasn't true. ●Positive - the young man with the mustache at the front desk was super nice and helpful ●Positive - the gym was excellent. ●I could type more but overall it was just an odd stay with questionable practices. It certainly wasn't up to the normal standard you usually receive from a Hampton Inn or any hotel, really. I think with better, visible, management things...
Read moreWe had a friendly greeter when we checked in, the first impression was that this is a nice, new, clean hotel and first impressions are important. Things got even better when we entered our room. Well laid out with two large windows for plenty of light and great darkening shades for sleeping. Very clean, modern and nice decor. VERY comfortable bed. Quiet at night. I would have left five stars but I had some issues with breakfast. First let me say it’s clean, lots to choose from, well stocked and goes from 6-10 on weekends which was nice. But! The boiled eggs are not shelled, so when you’re hungry and in a hurry, having to peel the shell off your own egg seemed like a mess and a waste of time. The oatmeal tasted good but was cold. Wouldn’t melt the pat of butter I put in it. Lastly I don’t think serving people some kind of folded egg with a bunch of red and green peppers can possible be as popular as just regular eggs. I for one, hate peppers and there wasn’t any other choice. Along with that many people don’t eat spicy sausage for breakfast either and bacon was not an option. Neither was gluten free bread of any kind but I’ll let that slide as most people aren’t gluten free. So the greasy potatoes, eggs filled with red and green peppers and spicy sausage was not a good choice for breakfast but all the rest was great. There’s a fridge in the room so next time I’ll just bring my own breakfast and heat it up and...
