I have never been the type of person to Bash any company at all, whenever i had a problem i would always communicate with whomever management may be. Well lets just say this, what im about to say about Microtel Inn in Cartersville Ga has lit a match. Let me start off by saying why i gave 1 star, the beds was super comfortable and the hotel lobby was very clean now there you have the good. I have never ever in my life been humiliated & embarrass the way i was on October 13, 2017. Let me tell yalk what happen and feel free to respond if you would like. I had made reservations to stay from Oct 13-15 3 weeks before coming, when i made reservation online i called the hotel and had spoken to someone about if me and my family could possibly check in between 1am - 3am early friday morning because we were traveling from florida and its a 10hr drive, the young man i had spoken with reassure me that it was fine and that my rates will still be the same also he was going to put a note on the system. Wellll my family and i arrive 1:45am friday morning, the young at the front desk (i wont say no name) told me that he could not honor my time for friday, he would have to charge me for Thursday night even tho it was early friday morning, remind you he seen the note in the system that the person i spoke to prior to maken reservations had wrote but still there was nothing he can do. Btw the way he was very cool so im not complaining about him at all. He allow me to check in but my reservation was suppose to have been F-Sunday check out at 11. He advise me to speak with the general manager in a few hours that morning, he she is his mother and she may honor my stay til sunday for my rate because of the promisary a coworker had approved. I could have paid with cash but all i had was my debit car, so he charge my card for the 2 nights $166.38. Later that morning i had spoken to Ms Jayme Martin she is the general manager also the young man mother. I explained to her everything that i had explained to her son and she ask me what day im checking out, whats my room number and that i was granted the til sunday. So me and my family went on about our visit in the city jointly with other family members who are residents in Cartersville. Later that night we came back to the hotel to rest it was around 12am when we pull up to the hotel it was about 10 fire trucks and they was not letting noone in nor did they evacuate the hotel so we was a little confused. We stayed in the parking lot for at least 45min. I decided to check my bank acct for my own personal reasons, and i notice there where 2 transactions debit to my account less then 24hrs one charge was the rate i agreed for the 2 night of $163 but the other charge was a single charge for $83.19 that second charge i did not give any authorization for, i was a little bother so as we was waiting to enter the hotel i showed my husband. When was about to go in i told my husband to go ahead take the kids upstairs because they where super tired. I didnt know at this time of whom i was going to encounter because no one was there at the front desk. I waited patiently and i see Ms Martin the general manager gets off the elevator with fireman. When her and i started talking i explained to her about my card being charge twice. She tells me that she only see one charge in her database, i politely open my bank acct on my phone to show her she reviewed it and then search again in her system then she found it. Her words to me that its nothing and that it will fall off on sunday when i check out. I told her i didnt give no one authorization to charge my card. She said that she would give me $100 on sunday if it dont fall off and i was like are you sure and she yessss. As i proceed to accept that what she said, i ask her was she going to be there on sunday and quote: do you think that i will be here on sunday, i have worked 16 hours today. And qoute" so i say well how are you gonna give me a 100 dollars if you not here if the $83.19 doesnt come off She replied whoever schedule to work that day she...

Just checked into the queen bed suite that would accommodate our family for the one night tonight. The young man at the front desk mumbled through his mask the whole time, making it difficult to hear him ask questions as he tried to find our reservation. Luckily the manager had not left yet so she assisted in finding it for us. We got to our rooms and found that we were in need of 2 blankets and one pillow. I went back to the front desk, with my mask on, and spoke with the same employee who had just checked me in. I gave him my request and he said he would go to check the housekeeping room that was 10 feet or so away from the front desk. Our room was right around the corner. I went to follow him so I could get the items and then go back to my room. He turned and told me to return to the front desk. I did just that but watched him walk in the housekeeping room and walk right back out. He then informed me that I would have to wait until morning for housekeeping assistance. I reminded him we would be leaving in the morning and some of us would not be having covers or a pillow. He showed no care whatsoever and began to mouth off as I walked back to our room. The ONLY reason I am still staying here for the night and trying to make the best of it is because it is 1am and I am too tired to try and find another room for myself, my wife and four young children. I’m not sure why the young man was unhelpful and I surely hope he wasn’t discriminating against us because of the color of our skin. I do know he never checked to see if there was any blankets or pillows and treated me as if he was disgusted with me for even asking. Tonight we are making do with a sheet and the vinyl pillow from the window bed. I will never stay here again and I advise everyone else to beware of staying here as well. I’m not sure there is any resolve with this issue as the damage and offense has...

The first stay at this motel was good but I got four nights. The second night I woke up to a bug in my bed. I was hoping it wasn't a bed bug......it was. I took the bug in a water bottle and took it down to the front desk. The guy gave me a refund. Also there are ants in the bathroom, I've been killing them every time I see them. I still needed a place to stay because I was still working at a construction job on nights. so I moved into a different room. A week went by and everything was good. Until I asked the housekeeper to change the bed sheets in my room and she told me she couldn't while I was in the room. So I left my room and went to work that evening. Came back from work and there was a note on the bed that said there were items on the bed....I had my phone charger on my bed but my roommate didn't have anything on the bed. So I asked again the next day but still had not got my bed changed. I came back from work and it's been three days passed. I took the bedding covers off, took towels out and the trash into the hall way. Went to sleep and next morning got sheets, changed sheets and cleaned my own room. So now it's been another three days and I asked for clean bedding and I left my room, now the lady got mad and says she's not changing no sheet........I'm staying here for 477 a week and this money is going to their wage...... why am I changing my own sheets and cleaning my own room when it's their job..... very upset. The one star is for the front desk lady. It's for her kindness and who remembers everything thank u to her. She works nights. If your staying a few nights it's good but any longer expect bad service. I've never experienced this kind of service from the other microtel inn's I've stayed at brfore, this...

Gross!!! Yuck, yuck, yuck! Arrived the receptionist was super slow...no big deal. BUT.....it just goes downhill from there! We had so much time checking in that we noticed all the furniture was ripped up along with curtains. A/C in receptionist area felt like it wasn't working either. Unloaded our bags upon checking in and quickly left for dinner with family. Upon arriving back later about 10pm, took off our shoes and noticed the floor near the bathroom corner was soaking wet! Gross! Looked around, dirty mirrors, torn carpet, ice bucket looked like it's never been washed. Immediately checked out and cut our stay short with Microhotel. Was promised they would not charge us for that night (which we had no problem paying for, since we did stay) or the nights we didn't stay...10 days later we still have charges for the whole time even we weren't staying there. We have contacted many employees and was told Zack the GM would call us. He has not returned any phone call. I'm surprised Wyndham would even polut thier name on this property! Do not book here! I wasn't going to write a review or post pictures but since we can't get Zach to call us back or reimburse we don't want this to happen to anyone else.

Terrible hotel. No refrigerator in the room (I asked for a second ice bucket clerk said they had no more proceeded to give me a bag) no microwave. Rooms are tiny beds sheets are rough. The fact there are adjacent rooms I heard couple having intercourse through the door. The picture is of something I found tucked into the sheets under the mattress. I contacted the front desk and they did nothing about it. The upside is the pet fee was only $25 which is a lot better than anticipated or other hotels I’ve been too. Also the tv is blurry and out of focus. This place is not worth going on the cheaper side. I’d rather spend an extra $100 and enjoy my stay while I’m here for work, rather than listen to the people in the next room through the door all night. DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE

Literally a joke! Stinks when you first walk in. Key card can not touch a phone apparently it stops the code from the card, the room was small and outdated and dirty, I was on the 2nd floor but guess what the elevator button for the 2nd floor was missing! So stairs it is, trash all over the stairs and trash bags by the doors of the 2nd floor. The room smelled awful and had torn carpeting, the tv remote batteries were dead so had to go back downstairs and ask for new ones. Probably the worst $88 I’ve ever spent for 1 night. The breakfast was nonexistent by 9 am, staff is not helpful and no other rooms were available. Then we called because there was jewelry left behind (1 necklace) and it was… “ oh we no find”
