Grand China — Restaurant in Cartersville

I dont write many reviews but I just moved here a week ago and decided to try this restaurant out for lunch. First as buisness owners you should be corgial and friendly to customers. I was very polite and nice asking about some of the food and the woman behind the counter never made eye contact and was so very rude and unhelpful. I looked at my husband because I could not believe how rude and unprofessional she was I was about to walk out but he convinced me to order. I tried to be even overly friendly saying thank you and how are you only to be ignored and no response. We got our food and another man just set it on the counter without saying a word. My husband asked about condiments and he pointed down behind the counter, no help and then my husband said thank you and have a good day and again not a word or acknowledgment. VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE AND BUISNESS. Got home and tried the food and it was thrown away. The worst chinese food I've ever eaten. Such a waste of $20. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND YOU SHOULD AVOID THIS PLACE AT...

I eat here 2-5 times per week! This place is a hole in the wall, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in good food, a friendly smile, and good prices. I know the owners on a personal level and they truly want people to enjoy what they order. There is always those who like to complain about everything, but since eating here well over 100 times I have only had the wrong order 1 time. And even that was very good. This is as authentic as you can get. Since we have discovered this place we eat there a lot! Since I have many food allergies the food sits with me very well. I highly encourage you to at least give this place a decent shot. For the price the food is honestly fabulous. This place is has its days, that's for sure ! Let me just tell u my most memorable experience with this place ! I placed an order for carry out, my daughter went to pick it up, needless to say I ask for sweet and sour chicken and I ask them twice not to forget the sweet and sour sauce because they have in the past. When my daughter gets home with the food NO SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE !!!!!! So I called back up there and they want to argue with me that they put it in the bag!! In other words the customer ME....is now A LIAR !!!!!!! So I TOOK ALL THE FOOD BACK UP THERE AND GOT MY MONEY BACK!!!!! Terrible service and the woman at the counter was very very rude , not nice and WE DO NOT EAT THERE ANYMORE!!! We drive across town to get Chinese food !!!!!
