One of the worst places we've ever stayed in. They gave me incorrect check in/out times that i called twice about. Upon entering the building there was a strong chlorine smell from the pool in the lobby and thanks to the slow staff, made walking in very unpleasant. They weren't even busy, it was a typical afternoon and checking in took about 10-15 minutes. The jacuzzi in the room was barely large enough to fit more than one person. Might as well not even paid the extra money for it and took a bath. Aside from wasting money from the major flaws already mentioned, there were a lot of obvious mistakes the staff should've caught and fix. The ceiling light had burn marks near it, that's awesome to think about when trying to relax. One of the lamps didn't work despite having 2 bulbs in it. No hand soap in the sink. I'm glad we brought our own. The receipt for my payment had a name on it no where close to how i spelled it. Address wasn't right either. They had my driver license and debit card info at check in time so i don't understand why the confusion for the receipt. There is some good news. They had a coffee maker but only 2 actual different flavors of four packets. Also no actual drinking faucet. Just the sink that goes to the bathroom. Walls of the room were so thin we could hear our neighbors switching on and off their light. It might sound like I'm mildly complaining but when you're trying to spend a night away from home to relax and not have to do anything, these complaints are what kill the experience. It was very hard to go to sleep with all the noise from children just outside our door. There was, probably worst of all No DVD player. That's right. None. Had to watch the tv in the room with like 15 channels. That's a nice touch. We actually had to call and switch our remote to one that can put the tv into input because logic dictates that people do want to watch with only a few random channels on cable. We got so bored that we went out and bought a DVD player for the room. Really i was thinking it would've been better to pay the babysitter to spend a night in the hotel instead of me and my wife. 1 year anniversary for our marriage was spent NOT relaxing like we planned. If I could I'd close the place down so customers don't get the wrong idea that this is any place to get any kind of sleep/relaxation from. If anyone reading this actually wants a real vacation away from home I'd suggest camping if this place is your...
Read moreHad some trouble checking in and at first they were very helpful. Then the next day I checked my bank account and they charged me 4 separate times for 4 different amounts. One was for $215, one for $50, one for $115, and then one final charge for $165. The only charges I authorized were the $50 and the $215. When I called to ask about it they basically just said “yeah it was an accident, it will be fine” and then that was all the explanation I got. So basically when the other couple that stayed with us checked out, they paid for the room with cash, but the woman at the hotel still charged my card for some reason. When I called to ask about what was going on I was told that it was a mistaken charge and that it had already started the reversal process and it may take a day or 2. When I called the next day, after waiting to see if the money would go back on, the woman on the phone was talking to me like she thought I was incompetent. She kept saying that the funds would go back after so many business days, which I understood fully, but that wasn’t my issue. My question/issue was WHY they were charged because the amounts didn’t add up or make sense. Then she transferred me to the GM she said “I’m gonna transfer you since you don’t understand” with an awful attitude and the GM wasn’t any more helpful. So, I called my bank and they say the funds aren’t released and they didn’t see anything on their end so they suggest I call the hotel back. I call the hotel and they say that the funds have been released and I’ll receive them whenever my bank releases/processes it. So I guess if you have an extra $280 laying around that you don’t need or want, just stay here. Edit 1: it’s been 4 days now and I’m still waiting on the money to come back. They claim it’s whenever my bank releases it, but I received a refund from Burger King faster than this last night. Edit 2: It’s day 5 and they sent me back the first initial $215 payment so far and the rest of the charges are still pending. Final edit: I finally received all the money I was supposed to,on Friday. One week after the initial payment. So after 5 business days and 2 weekend days I finally received the rest...
Read moreNOT Family friendly; management banged on the door whenever my baby son started to cry in the early afternoon. If you drink from the breakfast juice bar you will notice that it tastes like mold. The machine hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. The hallways carpet is very old and smells like mildew. Pool is not heated. Unsanitary breakfast; needed to use the restroom immediately after eating. Staff doesn’t help with luggage. All around bad experience. If you are visually impaired be careful of uncarpeted and unmarked duct-taped stairs. UPDATE: Dishonest reply from the management; staff were pounding loudly on the door on three separate occasions while my son was crying as was trying to put him to sleep, not "the majority of the day". If you have small ones avoid this place, its not worth it. The pool was freezing when we last visited. During breakfast on my last day I was approached by the staff who were extremely unprofessional and rude asking me about another customer's room number, never said why, which left me in disbelief why I would know such a thing or why I was being asked in the...
