Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Celina

Absolutely hated it. I went there with my mother and three children. Ordered two meals with the ice cream sundaes along with two ice cream cones. I got the food within 30 seconds, it was ice cold and hard..NOT fresh. They never gave me the sundaes until I asked, took about five minutes. Got them and the cashier tossed them on the counter. I then had to repeat chocolate on top since once again failed. I never got my two ice cream cones until I once again asked 20 minutes later. I endured eye rolling, whispering and giggling at us. I will NEVER go there again. The worst part is, I spent $30 and never see my mother. What a dreadful reunion! After being belittled and treated poorly, my mothers ice cream cone was placed on the counter without us being told. I felt immediate hurt and anger with every employee of this Dairy Queen. Once we've had ENOUGH of this treatment I went to throw everything away in the tiny trash slot only to be yelled at because they REFUSED to put a trashcan back on that area. With my three young children and my survivor mother...we walk to our vehicle only to be suffocated by an employee puffing away on a cigarette when he was wasting his time pretending to throw away trash. NEVER...

First, we used a coupon that said we can upgrade a meal with a small Blizzard for only $1 and they charged us $2 per order instead of $1. Then when we got our meals neither one of them had our toast in it. The chicken strips were tiny and really really hard like they were burnt. The french fries were half-dead. Plus, when we were ordering our food, one of the teenage girls in the back yelled at the teenage boy who was helping with ice cream orders and told him that she told him he needed to be taking orders even though there was already two people up there taking orders and only one person in line who needed to still order. He told that girl that he was trying to help get all of the ice cream out and she replied I don't effing care. It was really unprofessional with people yelling at each other and cussing when there was a bunch of little kids in the store. That teenage boy, after being yelled at, just stood by the back wall and looked like he was going to cry.

I don't typically slam fast food because of what it is, but i really am not a fan of how useless modifying meals are at Dairy Queen. The $7 3-piece chicken strip meal comes with a side, a sundae, and a drink. I often have drinks with me so I say no drink. It turned into adding another chicken strip instead of drink but somehow I still managed to only get 3 chicken strips and a side for $10 with no sundae and drink. Even if it was 4 strips it should cost about the same. No receipt. It's been several variations of this mess and everytime even if I get less product I pay more than their pre-selected meals. Also when they were having their donation promotion "$1 to get $5 in free Dairy Queen" or whatever I didnt get the coupon the first time I ordered and the second time I got the coupon and realized it's broken down into stuff I don't order. I dont mind donating for their tax write-off but again seems like a scam to me. The food and ice cream is alright though. I doubt...
