La Carreta IV — Restaurant in Celina

• This is the 2nd time we ate here (8/29/25), was expecting same great food and service, unfortunately, no. Our server was terrible, this time I got the Volcano. Rice/beans and tortillas dropped off 5 minutes before the volcano bowl. The server did not check on us once after getting our food, had to wave him down to get a refill, did not bring all items ordered (sour cream), unsure if we got changed for it or not because he never brought us our check so we finally went ip to the counter and got checked out. The salsa was just okay, and they never offered to refill the chips. The ice T was amazing though, we might give it one more chance, not sure though, it was really bad this time…really disappointed.

My wife and I and two friends rode our Harley’s 100 miles one way to come and try this new place out as we love the Grand Lake area. The place is super clean, the service was ON POINT and so friendly and the outdoor patio area was excellent!!!! Our server was so good and polite!!!! The food was off the hook!!!! Excellent portion size and very tasty!! The queso was thick and flavorful as it should be and the salsa was delicious!!! We ordered from the lunch menu and our friends both had a huge burrito and my wife and I had the speedy gonzolos and lunch special #4. We will definitely be coming back to this establishment!!!! Treating family on Sunday, January 26 to lunch and decided to purchase buffet. The time was 1:15 pm. What a big disappointment when going to the buffet to get our food. A lot of the containers were empty or only had a few items in them. For $16.99 we sure didn’t get much. Asked waiter if they would be replenishing the containers and he said not till 2:00 pm and that’s when they refilled. We were expected to pay that much to basically make a few tacos. Could have ordered off menu and gotten way more food for less money. Won’t be going back...
