First, the Staff is wonderful, all were polite, professional and helpful. Checked in by Nikki & Amanda Checked out by Nikki Engaged a short conversation with Nicole.
Guests have Expectations and notice the Details.
Booked the room only through the Marriott App. Sweet! New hotel, King Studio Suite is 525 sq ft, nice I say. Expectations are set on a nice room to relax in. That bubble was popped once we got to the room, it’s was just under 280 sq ft. Big difference from 525. ( you think). This is on the Hotel General Manager and Good Hospitality services LLC, these are the Details that should have been checked months back!
The Room, was clean and everything pretty much in order. The TV Cable guide was not working ( another one of those Details). Mentioned this to Nicole Saturday morning before going out to do things , did notice that the guide was working correctly Sunday evening. ( Thank you Nicole ). I do want the management ( including all Management at Good hospitality services LLC) to checkout the King Studio Suite in person. Turn that TV on and sit on the Sofa, ( it is comfy ). Now plug in your mobile device next to the sofa. ( try if you can). Zero outlets available by the sofa!! ( yes another one of, it’s the Details. ) Should I go on about the Details that matter in the bathroom????? Reach for that toilet paper. Some folks my phone off the toilet. Paint on the bathroom door that is cracking and will start peeling soon. ( more of those Details) No exhaust fan in the bathroom, a hot shower steams everything up. Shower with no shower door, the new look , bad design in my opinion. Water out of the shower and on to the floor and I’m sure that flooring will peal up in a short time. The metal door frame will start to rust sooner than later. ( How many Millions to build this new hotel to just go cheap? )
Breakfast, Well how do you run out of orange juice on Sunday at 8am the day before Memorial Day?

Read moreSaw the reviews about the customer service, gotta say that it's all true. As a Corporate Meeting Planner for over 20 years, I've dealt with hotel staff of all kinds. Marriott should shadow these folks to see how they can improve their customer service elsewhere. In particular, Nate and the team who managed the free breakfast when I stayed, they were on it. They got hit hard at 7am when the free breakfast started and they made sure nobody came across an empty carafe of coffee. I can't tell you how many times I had to flag someone down to get a carafe refilled at other hotels so this is a small thing but a big deal. If you're picking from different hotel options in the area, really place this on at the top...
Read moreEverything is good, except for the WiFi. It's abysmal.
I travel with four devices that can potentially use their wifi, but none of them will connect to it. I've tried forgetting the network, then restarting my device and trying again -- still doesn't work. It will SHOW that you're connected. Oh, boy, it will sure show you that you're connected. Don't trust it.
On the off chance that you actually get to connect to their WiFi, the download speeds hover right around 3.4gbs. That's... also abysmal.
It would be nice if the WiFi was reliable, connectable, and strong because the hotel is located in a very poor cell signal area. The rooms are nice, just don't try to contact the...
