Kaffa Cafe — Restaurant in Center Township

I’m giving it all a bad rating. Sure the staff is kind and all but I’m still rating it low due to the absolutely horrific coffee I was given when I ordered it. Went there twice. Thought I had maybe just a bad experience the first time but when I order a cold brew I don’t want stale coffee that was refrigerated. I want actual coffee that was brewed with the following method: steeping coarse-ground coffee in cold or room temperature water for an extended period, typically 12 to 24 hours, and then filtering out the grounds. This method extracts flavor from the coffee beans using time instead of heat, resulting in a lower acidity and smoother, naturally sweet taste. What I received tasted like acidic hot dog water nastiness. My wife had ordered a matcha drink twice in which barely tasted like matcha. What did she get? No idea! Wasn’t matcha. I was excited to experience this coffee shop, but was entirely let down. The menu was great and made me feel optimistic about the quality of the coffee. The sizes are odd and not notated as to how many ounces are in each size - the medium is huge. I got a croissant (which is not a croissant) and absolutely shocked when it was $12. You definitely need to lower the price at least and provide signage as to the cost of a pastry three times the price the loaf of bread. The staff was the worst part - not engaging, positive, or helpful. $25 for a coffee, water, and pastry is ridiculous, even for Starbucks. Don’t overprice your items and service because your overhead is too much, it’s not worth...

Definitely one of my new favorite spots in CP! It wasn’t too busy when we went in early afternoon, which was nice so we could take our time to look at everything. Loved the presentation of the whole place, and the staff were super friendly! The only name I caught was Anya, she brought us our food and was super sweet and attentive. I got the Biscoff latte and the Mediterranean Muse croissant, super yummy! You go girl! The younger gentleman working was also very nice. The coffee was a little less sweet than what I’m used to getting from other shops, so if you like sweet I’d recommend maybe adding sweetener :) I still enjoyed every sip though!
