Well if I could give this place a negative rating I would. One star seems high for them. I recently booked a stay and upon arrival I was told systems were down and I could not pay with a card I had to pay cash if I wanted a room. After going to Walmart accross the street and getting cash I was told the room was a different rate than what I originally booked (about $100 more). The guy told me he would honor the rate I had because I was able to show him email proof but he said if I renewed my stay it would be at the higher rate. I booked a room with two beds, the first room he tried to give me only had one. The second room he tried to give me had no refrigerator in it (which should be included). The last room we got settled into and started seeing roaches. Understanding the office is closed Sunday I went back to walmart and bought roach spray bleach and cleaning supplies. I personally had to clean the room and spray for roaches which only lasted a day before they were back. Monday came and I called the office to request the wifi access and was immediately greeted with "you have an outstanding balance on your room" not understanding why as I just paid in full Saturday, I was later informed that because THEIR systems were down forcing me to pay cash I now had to pay an additional deposit of $25 for paying cash. Being fed up with the stay already I asked if I could just leave and be refunded for any nights we didn't stay. I was told there was no refund policy. So I was forced to stay out the week I had paid for. On Monday night as I tried to cook for my kids someone just opens the door and tries to enter our room, no knock or anything and no apology afterwards. Now Im being told that I don't get my $25 deposit back because there was a lot of trash left in the room when I clean daily while there. The only thing I could not do was sweep the floors because I had no broom. This place is the worst, I would not recommend to anyone. I could not sleep the entire week we stayed because my baby girl was scared of the roaches crawling all over. Why remodel the rooms and still have roaches?! Priorities much?! I contacted the non emergency number as soon as I found out that the freezer was not working. I was told that I'll have to wait until 11 am the next day ( the freezer stopped working that night mind you. The manager told me that ill get a new fridge that day. I didnt get the replacement until later that day probably around 3 pm. I spoke to her and asked how about the food I have in the freezer since they spoiled would I be compensated? She asked me if I have any receipt for the food since she needs to let management know how much my food was worth. Of course I didn't have the receipt since I bought them a couple days ago. She said she will let management know about the situation. Least to say I finished the rest of my stay of 2 weeks at this establishment and I didnt received any reimbursement for my food that spoiled. The company didn't even have the decency to call/e-mail me ( the manager said they'll call ) to let me know that they looked into my situation. It's been a couple of months have gone and yup NOTHING was done. Lets just say that I will never stay at any of this company's establishment and yes all the people I know now knows to not give them...
Read moreMy family and I lived here for our transition from Statesville, NC to Charlotte, NC when our jobs relocated us. We stayed from December 2024 until May 2025. I will say that although they have rules like any other place, we were always treated with respect and consideration. My son lost the room key twice when we were there and no one gave us attitude when replacing the key. Maintenance quickly and efficiently addressed problems or issues immediately without hassle. They were always helpful and would even understand when the payment was due by 1:00 pm, I didn't get off till 3:00 pm. She always tried to give me time to get off work and get back to the room.
Most of all, they cared about our personal situation. When we did get our own place, they were extremely pleased but a little sad that we were leaving. Always encouraged us to keep our heads up and never harassed us. They do safety inspections and spray for rodents often and refreshed our rooms on a weekly basis. I didnt like living in a Extended Stay. No one really wants to do that. But they made our experience feel like we had a home and I don't regret my decision to utilize thier location as temporary housing. They are attentive to our needs. And we needed peace during our transition. They made sure we got it. Thank you to the front desk and maintenance for taking care...
