This is not the first time this has happened at this location but this was my sons birthday and it was supposed to be a celebratory dinner and it was not at all. I have been in the restaurant business as a General Manager and a Store Manager so I do understand the ins and outs of the food serve industry. There was a lot of break downs in this situation from the waitress, bartender, the kitchen and the management. We were a table of 7 adults nothing crazy and when we got there it was busy but as we sat there the floor started clearing out so we thought well we will be taken care of in a timely matter as they are not busy anymore but that wasn’t the case. We got sat at 8pm and it took 20+ minutes to get waters and drinks from the bar, then forgotten waters as well. Come to find out the waitress was new and this was her “first big table” as she later told us. But a lot of the issues were not her fault, she did apologize multiple times. The manager finally went to help the bartender but by that time we had waited 20+ minutes for our drinks. I think she maybe new as well but if you're in a management position you step in and step up anywhere you are needed in a timely manner don’t wait until the customer is already upset. She didn’t come to our table until I asked to speak to manager and that was when we finally got our food at 9:30 or so which was wrong for myself and my daughter. Then when we got the remakes we got the wrong potatoes but we just ate it because our other family members were already done with their meals and we were hungry and ready to get out of there. I mean I could go on about this terrible experience but I feel this is more than enough complaining.
In closing I didn’t want free food or drinks because we drank and ate our food and I should pay for what I consumed. The manager did give us a discount but I told her while I took the manager to the side to talk with her that I was not needing or wanting a discount. I ate, I drank and I will pay for all of that. The waitress was upset and continually kept apologizing that it was all her fault and I told her no it wasn’t and gave her a hug.
Needless to say I have went on several websites facebook, yelp and others and this location has a lot of complaints and it needs to be looked into immediately as to not lose business at this new location. Thank you for your time and good luck retraining the staff and I wish you success...
Read moreI visited here on 11/7/20 around 8pm. I was in a party of 7. There was a reservation for 7:30pm. We were celebrating my friends birthday. The table wasn't ready. We didn't get sat until about 7:50pm. We ordered apps and drinks. I started doing keto diet (low carb) about 3 weeks ago and this was my first time eating out at a restaurant since I started. Luckily, they have many options that are keto friendly. Their menu was unfortunately limited/altered. Things I planned on ordering was not offered (i.e. asparagus, broccoli, port house, etc). I ordered a Coke Zero and someone beside me got a Dr. Pepper. They mixed up our drinks twice. Luckily, I could tell the difference within the first 1-2 sips. However, it was definitely an inconvenience and could've messed me up. They gave the table bread, which I didn't/couldn't have. It took a while for the food to come out after ordering and many of us, like me, was very hungry and hadn't ate all day. I got the 8oz sirloin and 5oz chicken combo with double green beans. I ordered a side of grilled shrimp too. When my food came, it was missing the shrimp. It came out when I was almost done eating. It came on some type of bread, but again, I can't have bread and plus it was hard . My food itself was really good! I highly enjoyed it. I think $5.99 for 4 pieces of shrimp is kinda expensive... I wish I hadn't said anything about missing it. We had two waitresses and one was a trainee. One was named Mackenzie (but I'm not sure which one she was). Overall, the service was okay. One guest ordered a whiskey sour and didn't get for a long time. Apparently, it had been sitting out. Luckily, they took it off the bill, especially since they didn't like it. This same guest thought their steak was salty. I believe the other parties enjoyed their food with no complaints. There was social distancing within the tables and masks were required and provided if people didn't have one. Staff were wearing mask as well. Fingers-crossed that I didn't go over my carb allowance! Pros: delicious food, decent service, lighting was nice, and Covid pre-cautions. Cons: Repeated drink mix-up, long wait for food, forgotten about alcoholic beverage, limited/reduced menu, and...
Read moreI recently dined at Outback Steakhouse, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a rather unsatisfactory experience. From the undercooked steak to the lackluster service, my visit left much to be desired.
Let's start with the main attraction: the steak. As a steak lover, I had high hopes for a flavorful and perfectly cooked piece of meat. However, my excitement quickly waned when I cut into my steak only to find it significantly undercooked. It was far from the medium-rare I had requested, and the rawness made it quite unappetizing. It's disappointing when a restaurant known for its steaks fails to deliver on such a fundamental aspect.
Adding to my frustration was the lack of attention from our waitress. Throughout the entire meal, she seemed disinterested and rarely checked on our table. Empty glasses were left untouched, and requests for condiments were forgotten. The lack of attentiveness made the experience feel impersonal and left us feeling neglected.
To make matters worse, attempting to flag down another staff member for assistance proved to be a challenge. It seemed as though they were understaffed, as the wait times for any form of service were considerably longer than one would expect. This lack of efficiency further contributed to the overall disappointment of the evening.
Given this experience, it's safe to say that my first visit to Outback Steakhouse will be my last. The undercooked steak and the lackadaisical service did not meet my expectations for a satisfying dining experience. It's unfortunate, as I had heard positive things about this establishment in the past.
I hope that Outback Steakhouse takes customer feedback seriously and addresses these issues. Improvements in the kitchen and a focus on customer service are necessary to regain the trust of disappointed patrons like myself. Until then, I will be exploring other options for a satisfying...
