I paid for my furniture in February 2021 for it to be delivered in June 2021. The set of furniture I paid was already in the store when I paid for it and Mark stated he would put it in the Warehouse. I checked in with Mark in April and he stated he sold my furniture to someone who paid their layaway late (mind you its technically mine because I paid in full). Mark stated he didn't know if he would have my furniture in by the time I moved. At this point, I'm checking in with him weekly to make sure ALL of my furniture would be here. June rolled around and Mark stated he didn't have my original furniture I paid in full for and that I could choose another couch set or get a refund. mark called the day before my move in stating my bedroom furniture had a dent it in from the warehouse and if he ordered it he had no idea when it would get here. I tried to explain to Mark the inconvenience he caused over the last couple months. After explaining the inconvenience he stated "it is what it is". I've sent numerous people to his company I'm sure averaging over $3,000 or more and he was not understanding of that at all. We found what weâve been looking for in this place, but due to our payment method, the owner stated he would be able to accept it because it had that feature turned off due to large fees, which is understandable. After trying to figure out everything I went in to ask a simple question about paying the fee, so we would be able to get our furniture. The owner gave me a nasty look & told me to go find a mom and pop store that would be more gullible, idk if he thought we were trying to scam him or something, which was not the case at all. Thereâs just so many different ways to pay for things, a simple no wouldâve worked. But the hateful attitude and smart remarks & the look of disgust did it for me, he was so nice at the beginning but then turned very hateful. As I was reaching to gently open the door, I was greeted by violent, repeating honking from the owner/manager. He yelled at me to not jerk the door as I would set off the alarm (and I wasnât even at the door yet). I mentioned that google said he opened at 10am. His response, âI donât know how they got that.â Then he sped off blasting his music down Freedom and just left us without words.
Extremely unprofessional. We will not be going back EVER. As a business owner, you should respect potential clients. A simple, âexcuse me miss, we are not open there is a google maps mistakeâ would have suffice. LEARN YOUR MANNERS, sir! Where did you get your home training...
