I am stressing this because it needs to be investigated and I have had family members and friends to die from covid-19 and anybody that eats at this location may need to get tested!!!!!!!
WARNING!!!!! THIS LOCATION IS VERY HIGH FOR SPREADING THE COVID-19!!!!! Me & my mother went at 11:45am today to order our breakfast while waiting we asked if they can please put on gloves while fixing food because we noticed that they was not wearing any and we were told no that they were not going to put on gloves and we stood there and watched them handling food and the manager told us they'll do it this time but they really don't have to and then the person taking the order he had on the mask but didn't have it over his face and was standing very close to try to take the order and I asked him excuse me sir do you mind pulling up your mess while you taking my order and he told me no because it ain't going to protect me anyway and then the person taking the order the light skin lady which indicated she was his mother and the manager always very disrespectful and argumentative with us as customers and we was very polite and nice and just ask if they can put on gloves and ask the person taking orders to put on Mass my mother let the young man know that he was very disrespectful and being argumentative with us and he said so it was a very awful experience not only on top of that you want to argue with customers in the store with no mask on spreading germs in the air while handling food with no gloves and no mask, this is not the first bad experience at this location and every time we go inside of this location on North Tryon right there in university near the IKEA, every time I try to give this location a chance because I like waffle House food but this particular location is very unprofessional the employees always look Dusty dirty and unsanitary the cooking area always looking Dusty dirty and unsanitary no type of hair nets are one wide cooking food no coverings and then a very disrespectful to customers very very bad operation the other locations never had this experience except for this...
Read moreI just had a very poor experience at this waffle house location. I entered the restaurant and it took them about 10 minutes to even take my order. I watched the grill cook carefully as he cooked my order and noticed that he did not place the ham in my hashbrowns as I had ordered. My order then sat on the brown board a the grill for another 3-5 minutes after he had placed it in the to-go container before the waitress even came and picked it up.
I brought it to her attention that there was no ham in my hash browns and she told me to check again to make sure. After I looked again and told her that there was no ham in my hashbrowns, she told me to move my hashbrowns around because sometimes the ham is on the bottom. She then asked he grill cook if he put ham in the hash browns, he lied and said that he did. So I did moved my hash brows around In the container and then she saw that it was not him in my hashbrowns. She then told the grill cook to cook some ham.
She asked for the to go container back and the grill cook put the ham on top of the hash browns and she handed my tray back to me.
I asked for another fork since I had to use my first one to fish through my hash browns. The waitress threw one on top of the counter. I looked at her in absolute disgust and got my food and walked out.

Read moreFirst and foremost I always eat Waffle House & while I'm aware that you won't receive the same service as you would at Flemings or Ruth Chris it should have not been as mediocre as the experience I was given and observed today. I was not greeted once I stood at the register to place my to go order I was asked by an associate if I wanted a to go order and she walked away. The associate that was supposed to be taking orders on the register was on her phone beside the register online shopping asking the opinions of what she wanted to order from her coworkers. My friend and I waited a little over 5 minutes (while standing at the register) to be addressed and order our meal. Finally we were asked to place out order and we're given an attitude as if we were disturbing their peace of the business. As we waited for our order we observed that several other customers who wanted to dine in were given the same treatment or worst ! Let's not include the fact that half of the staff was in health code violation due to uniform bundles flying and flowing in the wind nails were long & colorful excessive make up & perfume. Finally reviving our food and exiting the horrible experience three men were greeted at the door and seated by an associate when Waffle House is clearly seat yourself.
