I really wish I would have read the reviews before coming to this location. Unfortunately, reviews from months to a year ago are still relevant presently, which makes me question if those who respond to these reviews actually care about the feedback they receive or work to improve it. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem that way. I went to this location last evening around 8pm when I got off work. As soon as we walked in the door, one of the girls behind the counter asked if we were picking up. We said no. She then rudely informed us she wasn’t making any subs with bacon or meatballs. Our order doesn’t include those things, so we proceeded to the cashier. The girl at the register was on her phone when we approached. She did not greet us and stood up with her arms crossed, no smile or anything. I gave my order and my partner gave his. While we were ordering she returned to being on her phone. We remained polite, smiled and said thank you when we were done, and received nothing back from her. While waiting for our order, we observed the same treatment towards the next three people who walked in. Rude interactions and glares from all three employees behind the counter. This was two hours before they closed, and it was empty inside. We felt the intention was to immediately stop people at the door and turn people away which made no sense considering it was two hours before closing. Being this rude overall should have 0 place in any workplace. I work in food service and retail and could not imagine being this blatantly disrespectful to customers. I can’t say I’ll be back to this location because clearly things haven’t improved from months ago when other people complained about how rude the workers were. I can only hope management starts taking these things seriously because this type of treatment is ridiculous. If you cannot be decent to people, you should not be working in a place that requires you to interact with people. We walk in and as we are placing our order we are told, "wait a minute for this online order to pay" which turned into a 5 or 6 minute ordeal, then they need to search the computer so I can finish ordering my sandwich (already ordered for the wife and kids.) So we processed to sit down and get out our drinks. My wife is very frustrated with customer service so we decided to get it to-go, when I walk up to let them know it will be to-go. The sandwiches are already done just not baged, i check the bag and the captain sauce is missing so I ask for the captain sauce, and hot sauce which takes a good another 2,3 minutes because the new hire couldn't find them.
What shocked me the most, as someone who works in customer service, is that after receiving the sauces, I asked for a plastic fork and knife, and Mary responded "I thought I told you to get everything at once."
If someone in one my restaurants were EVER to respond to a customer that rudly in that tone they would IMMEDIATELY be reprimanded...

Read moreI ordered the Engineer medium sub today. Seriously, this was THEE BEST Firehouse Sub that I've ever had! Now THAT is how you make a sub. It wasn't all flimsy with limited meat or toppings. It was great!! My compliments to the manager and staff!
Edited to add new review: 6/16/24 Listen, I don't know what has happened to this location lately but it is NOT how it used to be. I ordered 3 subs from here last night and all 3 fell completely apart. The bread ripped to shreds and the sub was light as air. It felt like I literally paid for air. Why do I say this? Because it was VERY skimpy as if it was made for a toddler and not for a full size sandwich. The meat looked like someone pieced it together because the pieces weren't whole at all. The bread was soaked with the oil and vinegar. I have been to this location many times in the past, but nope, I will not be returning. The only thing I will say is the young lady who handed me my sub was very nice. We didn't open our subs until we got home. If I had seen those subs, I would've asked for a refund IMMEDIATELY!
