When you view the hotel room pics on their website they look of course nice and clean. As soon as we walked in, it reeked like mildew wet dirty clothes. The floor had stains all over, and could feel dirt under my bare feet on carpet. I very much doubt anyone vacuumed. When I opened up the sheets to get in (I’m not fore sure) but it looked as if they just made the dirty bed up. I used to do housekeeping at hotel and a coworker did that and management were of course furious and showed us what to lookout for. There were already hairs on inside sheets and wrinkles everywhere. Every corner of the room was dirty (looked like it had been burnt, full of drywall “crumbs” and some black spotty areas) the new shower backdrop is pretty but tub was old and dirty, the shampoo and conditioner dispenser on shower wall was either out or broken. Wanted to take my little girls swimming in outdoor pool but was overcrowded, loud and full of adults drinking and smoking right next to pool. So I decided not to take them on account of one of my children having autism and the other with asthma. People were sitting on lawn chairs outside their doors everywhere drinking and smoking so therefore it wasn’t good sleep bc they were all loud and out there till 3am before it settled down. I had hoped management or staff wouldn’t allow all that so late but apparently it’s ok. I felt like I was being bitten several times through the night but thought maybe it was all in my head since I felt like it was dirty in there, but in the morning after shower I looked in mirror and had several tiny red bumps on my back, arms, and legs that surely were not there prior to the stay. We stayed in room upstairs and Other family stayed in a room downstairs and said basically all the same things I did. I didn’t even think to take a few pics till we were leaving so I quickly took a few but didn’t have time to mess around, I wish I could have. Please if you have children take caution staying here or be more brave than myself and not accept a room if it looks bad to you. Everyone was booked in the area otherwise I would have switched hotels, I...

Came here to stay while our girl was playing in a softball tournament. We check in Friday afternoon and give a room. Attempt to access room and was then greeted by guest who come to find our are the owners. I was then yelled at saying “why are you trying to get in our room.” Where I reply, “sir, we were given this room.” Then was told, “no, you do not have this room.” And I replied, “then tell me why my room key was working and has room number *.” Where the door was then slammed in my face. Was then give another room RIGHT BESIDE where the incident happened.
After this, every 10-15 minutes we were met with the 4 occupants of the room either parking through the window or standing on the balcony staring at us and children and it got to the point where the girls were asking why they were staring at them.
We then played softball all day Saturday and got back to our rooms about 8 pm and we promised the girls they could swim since the pool closes at 10 pm. While in the pool there were painters on the room painting. We then are greeted by the owners at 9 pm being demanded to leave the pool as it was closed. He proceeded to lock the gates and was standing there banging keys on the gate yelling at the girls to get out it was closed. While the sign clearly states 10 pm. We go to eat dinner at the diner attached (diner is definitely wonderful no bad review for them) and it’s 12 am at this point and we are then again greeted with the painters PAINTING the roof. We go to our vehicles and there is TEAL PAINT ON ALL THE VEHICLES. We then ask the front desk what can be done and we’re then told nothing can be done. Was then told GM would be there at 9 am. GM was not there at 9 this morning and was told 2 stories. GM is leaving for India tomorrow but then be in the office until 9 am Tuesday. So please don’t waste your time...
Read moreThe location of the hotel is great. It is conveniently located near the interstate. We went on a family vacation for the weekend, I booked two rooms for my family and my parent's family. I had hoped to get adjoining rooms but that did not happen. The reason for the negative reviews has mainly to do with the cleanliness of the hotel. The breezeways were full of trash, the floors were sticky, it just made you feel gross. I was also highly concerned with the fact that the pool was completely green and they were still allowing people to swim in it. When I mentioned this to the front desk staff he laughed me off and said that they had shocked it the day before and there are lots of kids enjoying it. I said, yes but that could cause people to get sick. He did not seem to be bothered by this at all. There were chlorine tablets just thrown into the pool and it was completely unsafe for anyone to be in it. And yes I am aware it is the parent's responsibility as well, many people may not know how dangerous that really is and how sick you could get, that puts the responsibility on the owner. Part of the reason I booked this hotel was so that my 6 year old niece would be able to swim and the pictures of the area made it appear to be nice. The pictures I took are from the morning after we arrived. The bathroom door in my parents room could not be locked because someone had pushed the doorknob into the wall and before the spackle was dry had pushed it through again and so the knob was covered in dry spackle. Our room had coffee packets but no coffee maker. When we went down to ask for additional towels we were told they had none. The pictures make this place look decent for the money but I can guarantee that I would not stay at this location again. In my opinion, it gives the Best Western...
