I arrived at this location at 11:40. There was a line in the drive thru, but I elected to stay since this establishment is one of few who are open late. When I reached the speaker to order, I was asked to hold for a minute. I waited for a few minutes and the young lady asked to take my order. I ordered 3 combos, not just for myself, and she jokingly yelled through the speaker: “Dang, who you ordering all this food for man?!” I was puzzled and responded, “It is not that much food.” Then she spouted: “Aye, yeah it is.” She was abruptly cut off by another employee and he stated: “Look, we close in 13 minutes and we do not have enough beef to make the burrito you want. We can’t do it.” It was a clear excuse because they did not want to work or keep the restaurant open until its true closing time. Taco Bell used to advertise as an establishment as being a “Late Night” restaurant and now its employees are sending customers away. I said, “So, we waited for nothing then” and I drove off and went to another Taco Bell location. I went to the Taco Bell on Lee Highway, where the price for the same order was $8.00 cheaper. Corporate needs to step in and retrain the employees at Silverdale Road location and others as well, because this establishment will literally shut off the drive thru sign because they want to sit around and play before closing time. I immediately contacted your restaurant to explain the situation and request that my order be remade. To my disappointment, I was informed that my order would not be replaced and that I would have to repay for the entire order, despite the fact that the issue was entirely out of my control.
Additionally, the DoorDash driver contacted me and stated that they would return my order to your store. However, the order was never brought back, and the driver provided conflicting information, claiming at one point that the police were involved and had taken over the situation. I later discovered that the driver had been dishonest about what actually happened.
I am very disappointed with both the lack of support from your staff and the poor handling of the situation overall. As a paying customer, I expect a fair resolution when my order is undelivered due to circumstances beyond my control. I would appreciate it if you could review this matter and provide...
Read moreWent 07/11/2024 and tried to order. We walked all the way from the Motel to Taco Bell. The cashier asked if I ordered and I said no yet. She said what do you need and I told her 5 crunchy tacos. When she ordered my food she called another cashier over and that cashier said " We can't take your order we don't have a drawer. " What ever that is? So we turned around and left. The first time I've placed an order that the cashier said we can't take your order we don't have a drawer. So we left with no food back to the Motel. It's really nice that you have so much business that you can turn business away because you don't have a drawer to ring up the order. Customer service should be number one no matter what. I would have done something to make sure the customer was satisfied fully as in use another register that has a drawer but I guess not at Taco Bell on Silverton Road. Just not worth that long walk not knowing it they have a drawer or not. Amazing...
