The brand new hotel is amazing but sadly management is arrogant and price gouging! It took them a week to get me two pillows! They seemed to not understand common sense when the mini fridge broke they suggested moving me after Iv already unpacked and occupied the room for a week! And mind you it was midnight! Their computer system was down for 3 days and after days of telling front desk that I needed to extend my stay it took 3 days to get any reply and they refused to honor the price of the room on the 1st day I asked even when I presented evidence of the price! The GM was adamant that even though their computer system was down for 3 days that I should pay the highest price instead of providing regular customer service and honoring the price that was on their own website on the day I wanted to book! EXTREMELY STRESSFUL DEALING WITH MANAGEMENT THAT DOEANT VALUE A CUSTOMER PAYING OVER $1000 for their stay! Damn shame as the facility is lovely and comfy! But they need tons of work on their management and staff and computer systems even their website had tons of false info for this location! For instance the website states the shuttle goes 2 miles radius around the hotel! Not so, it only goes to the airport! It also says they have room service! They don’t! This NEEDS TO BE CORRECTED so that customers looking for the right fit of a hotel can make a good decision! This isn’t an ideal place for a slay linger then a day or so, and they treat you horribly if you stay over a week as if your money isn’t green enough! A horrible mistake for choosing this place and extremely stressful instead of it being relaxing which I wanted it to be! A big shame as the hotel it self is clean and cozy and a great little pool! So disappointed and frustrating that management refused to provide proper customer service and I had to contact their corporate headquarters to get the price that my room was the day I requested it reserved!!! YOU REALLY NEED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR COMPUTER SYSTEM ERRORS OR GLITCHES AND NOT MAKE THE CUSTOMER PAY EXTRA FOR YOUR ERRORS! Read moreI’ll give this place a 1 star. The 1 star represents the free bottled water that they gave us when we checked in. However — I have never been so furious and dissappointed in the way a brand new Holiday Inn handles themselves on the return of my trip. We made sure the shuttle service was available to us when we booked this room which was expensive in itself, but the option for shuttle service was key. I called when we landed to let them know we had a party of 4 and we will be waiting at terminal C110 as they directed to be. The girl at the desk, ERICA, said it would be no more than 30 minutes and to get on the white van. No problem. We get to where we are suppose to be, and wait patiently. Finally after 45 minutes, the van pulls up. We get our luggage in the trunk and sit down. The driver then proceeds to tell us that we are on the wrong bus. Well how because ERICA informed us to get on this bus. “Well they are renting from our company, blah blah blah”. Complete disaster. So now at it’s 11pm, we have to get off this bus and wait again. I called ERICA and said “do you think it would have been nice for you to explain this situation and inform us of what’s going on because your BRAND NEW hotel doesn’t have their own shuttle bus?” She was extremely rude and unprofessional telling me “I’m sorry that you all are confused, and she has another shuttle there at terminal B it’ll be a couple minutes”. Arguing with me on the phone giving me a daring attitude as if I was not the paying customer and I was wrong. I asked for her managers name, which was Karen — and she basically dared me to come talk to them when I arrived. I 100% was upset in how it was organized, and she as the EMPLOYEE should not be telling me I’m confused and basically stupid. Unbelievable. We proceeded to wait another 25 minutes and the bus never showed up. We ended up having the Uber back to the hotel. Now The room was expensive, we have no shuttle help us, have inconsiderate rude unhelpful and snoody employees, I would say this didn’t deserve any sort of good review. I am completely dissatisfied and will not be returning to this hotel. If they had any sense of pride or any good management, they would handle this properly. Unfortunately, I was unable to find my preferred choice of a regular cola, as only diet cola was available. Consequently, I settled for an orange juice alternative, only to discover that it had expired several months prior. This lapse in attention to detail regarding the freshness of the beverages was disappointing.
Nevertheless, despite this setback, the overall cleanliness of the hotel room and the attentive service provided by the staff remained noteworthy. The room was well-maintained and showcased a commendable level of cleanliness, allowing me to feel comfortable throughout my stay. The hotel staff demonstrated professionalism and were readily available to address any concerns or queries I had during my time there.
In summary, my stay at this hotel was satisfactory, with notable positives such as cleanliness and attentive service.
