Harry Della Russo Stadium — Attraction in Revere

I recently visited my late Uncle Harry's stadium on a recent trip to Boston. The renovation is quite extordinary. I remember the 1973 stadium dedication to an individual that served his City with love and respect to every person he encountered To those that remember the late Senator Harry Dellarusso he had his yearly Halloween party with free rides, popcorn, balloons and cotton candy on his former home on Revere Street which was next to the Paul Revere Middle School. (All his land behind the Paul Revere Middle School for the park by the way was donated by Uncle Harry to the City of Revere.) I still remember blowing up balloons with my late Uncle Jimmy Cella on the last Halloween night Uncle Harry was fighting Cancer . Even being ill from this dreaded disease he was concerned that every child would get popcorn and Balloons when they came to his home. A true Hero and Gentleman, my Great Uncle Harry Dellarusso. As stadiums go, very well lit, seating was ample and comfortable as stadium seating goes, VERY CLEAN. Very secure and safe plenty of officers 👮the field is great especially with our Revere High School Football Team playing. Concession stand was friendly and had some things. BUT IT WAS NO... 🇺🇸PAPA JACKS🇺🇸 PIZZA, NOW that's what makes the game more enjoyable, win or no, good pizza,🍕 dough balls with cinnamon and powdered sugar, hot chocolate☕, and our 🇺🇸Revere High Patriots🇺🇸 team playing ball is the best. Nicely kept field has a track around it, and the stadium is well fenced in. Plenty of packing. 🎉 GO REVERE HIGH 🎉 🇺🇸...

Great public sports facility with high quality artificial turf. Tennis courts and basketball courts are solid. Ample parking available.

One complaint—the staff insists on locking a vast maze of fences to prevent access to facilities at random times. This is extremely annoying because people leap the fences anyway; the locking only discourages older people and children from...
